“We were given a very warm welcome from our host. The cottage is very cozy and comfortable. It has been updated and was very clean and well taken care of. It is up among grape vineyards and gardens surrounded by beautiful forested hills. The owner was very knowledgeable about the culture and area contacts. For us, it really seemed like "heaven on earth". We want to return.”

“Es ist ein gut ausgestattetes und gemütliches Haus. Das Bett ist bequem (da es unter der Dach schräge steht sollte man auf den Kopf aufpassen). Leider war der outdoor-Hottub Ende Mai noch nicht in Betrieb.Die Unterkunft hat 2 Parkplätze. In kurzer Zeit sind viele Restaurants per Auto erreichbar. ”

Het huis zelf is voorzien van alle comfort en biedt heel veel mogelijkheden naar vrije tijd (voetbaltafel, darts, trampoline, zwembad, schaakspel, klein speelgoed, leuke tuin,...). Je hebt wel best een auto om je te verplaatsen, maar een ideale uitvalbasis om het minder toeristische stukje van Kroatië te leren kennen. Goed vertrekpunt voor bezoeken aan Karlovac, Zagreb, Rijeka en de Pitvlicemeren.”

“We had a wonderful time in this very charming country house. The house is very cosy and clean. The view is even more exceptional in real than on the pictures. We enjoyed a lot the lovely garden, the beautiful sunsets and stars. The environment is very calm. The region is beautiful for hiking and cycling. Owner Mirjam is very friendly and correct. She gave us very good tips about activities. For exemple from Litjia, it is very easy to take the train to Ljublijana for a daytrip. For sure we will...

“Sehr schönes Haus in einer malerischen Gegend. Man hat einen wahnsinnigen Blick auf die Landschaft. Wandern kann man auch prima hier. Gerne wieder.”

“In the middle of nowhere but only ten mins to decent great value restaurant and fifteen minutes to good supermarkets (both by car). Ana the host is lovely and couldn't help more. The kitchen is very small and basic (2 burner hob and small fridge) and the toilet is downstairs at the front of the house but this worked for us and the property is characterful, beautiful and well kept with a lovely pool.”

The kids loved the pool, the house has airco in all the rooms, dishwasher, washing machine, Great beds…and the best of all are the hosts. They live across the street and made sure our stay was lovely! They are lovely people. The river Kolpa is reached in 10 minutes by foot and kids can swim there. Our kids loved it. For us this was a 10 out of 10!!”
