“We enjoyed staying at this cottage and it made a great base for exploring the southern coast of Cardigan Bay, which has some fabulous stretches of the coastal path. However, the cottage was really cold when when arrived mainly because the owner insists on turning the radiators to frost setting and then locking them. The heating instructions left in the cottage folder are really out of date and relate to a heating system that is no longer there (night storage heaters that the instructions say...

“Only setback was the many steps (57) Sometimes quite a jaunt but no doubt kept us fit after all the Fish Chips and Icecreams.”

“A wonderful property for families, children and dogs. Well equipped, beds soooo comfortable. Bathroom/shower areas look lush and work well. The horses in the next field a treat for us all. Next time a longer stay to settle in and explore the area more. Cardigan is lovely, beaches so picturesque. Moody Cow for Sunday Lunch.......the best Ive ever had!! Cant wait to return. “Fabulous little getaway. Very peaceful with amazing views over Cardigan Bay. Very comfortable, clean and surprisingly spacious accommodation for 2 of us. Great bistro just a 5 minute walk away and a short drive to the nearest shops, cafes and bars.”

“D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility...

“We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). “We had a lovely stay in the cottage. It had everything we needed. Only a 13 minute drive to Poppit sands beach where the Welsh Surf Lifesaving championships were being held. Lovely views. Would definitely stay again! ”
