This guest suite offers a comfortable and inviting space for your stay. The master bedroom and living room both open onto a private deck, perfect for enjoying the outdoors. Inside, you`ll find a cozy fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. Step outside to the private patio, where you can relax in the hot tub, grill on the charcoal BBQ, and enjoy a meal at the table and chairs. We provide a starter supply of coffee and tea to get you settled in.

*This listing is based on double occupancy, meaning there is a fee for each guest beyond 2 people. Day visitors are not allowed so every person on the property at any time (including infants and children), must be on your reservation. Maximum guest occupancy is 5.
*Please do not try to open locked doors or wonder into patios belonging to other units on the property.
* Early checkin and Late check out must be arranged in advance and will come with a charge. The Housekeeping company pays their staff by the hour, whether they are cleaning or waiting for guests to leave. In general they charge a fee of $25 per hour to alter the check in or check out time

We live about 25 minutes away and are available if the need arrises. We communicate promptly through message via the website/app or email.

Squirrel View Suite is ideally situated for both tranquility and convenience. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood primarily populated by local residents, it offers a peaceful escape while still being remarkably close to the heart of Oakhurst (approximately a 0.9-mile drive). You`ll find a blend of serene mountain living with easy access to local amenities. This makes Squirrel View a perfect base for exploring the area`s attractions and enjoying the local atmosphere, while still being able to retreat to a quiet, residential setting.

It is possible to take the YARTS bus and walk a mile to the house from the bus stop at the Oakhurst Starbucks. However, most people will want a car.

Note: At times Yosemite National Park requires reservations, see the official website for details, if you fail to get them you can take the YARTS bus or another tour into the park without reservations.

Charcoal for the grill is not provided. While we try to keep salt, pepper and oil stocked for your convenience, it is not guaranteed.

The thermostat will only allow you to set the temperature between certain minimum and maximum temperature limits. Should you need to exceed these temperature limits there are additional fees.

Please note: some roads from the East, such as Tioga Pass and Glacier Point are seasonal and are closed October through June.

Pack-n-play must be requested in advance.

PLEASE NOTE: Hot Tub is available for use 24/7 but please know that the hot tub servicer may stop by at some point, during daytime hours, to service the hot tub. We do also have other service providers (Gardner, pest control, etc.) who may be outside on the property during daytime hours, from time to time.

You will receive a fee request after booking to cover additional housekeeping expenses. The housekeeping company charges $50 for checkouts on any of these holidays.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not alter our cancellation policy for instances of rain, snow, smoke from fires, failure to get reservations to the National Park or closures to the national park. Please purchase your travel insurance accordingly.

After booking, you will be asked to agree to a rental agreement which restates the policies detailed in this listing.

Lost and Found: All lost and found items will be kept for up to 7 days. Shipping cost and staff time to mail it back will be charged to the guest. The minimum fee to ship an item starts at $50 and may increase depending on shipping cost.
*This is an upper unit, we ask that if you bring children please be aware that noise travels to the lower unit when children play loudly or run in the unit. Please be respectful of your fellow guests below by keeping noise to a minimum.
*Quiet time 10pm-8AM.
*Parking for ONE vehicle included (no trailers/boats), any vehicle beyond one is $25 per night arranged in advance (based on availability), undisclosed vehicles are $50 per night for the duration of your entire reservation.
*Any guest not disclosed in advance of checkin will be charged at double the nightly guest charge(plus taxes, $66.90 per night) for the duration of your ENTIRE reservation.
*We charge for INFANTS, please ensure you have included them as `children` on your reservation, or you will receive a fee request after booking to correct the reservation
*Please note you must go through a bedroom to access the bathroom
*No refunds for outages beyond hosts control, ex. WiFi, electric, water, hot tub, etc
*Smoking anywhere on or in the property will incur a minimum $100 fee
*We are unable to allow pets/service animals as we have a family member who regularly uses the home and has an extreme allergy. We charge a $500 fee for undisclosed pets/service animals to ensure the safety of our family member.
