If you are headed to Yosemite ( 11 miles from the south gate) or Bass Lake (just 4 miles) or just want to escape from the crowded city, this home is the answer. The house is on one of the best Lewis Creek frontage properties where you can listen to the relaxing sound of the waterfalls in the backyard or take a dip in one of the 3 refreshing pools. This 3 bdrm 2 bath home offers a view from every room.

Conveniently located off Hwy 41, only 4 miles from the town of Oakhurst. The well-established neighborhood is quiet and the cabin is in a cul-de-sac. The neighborhood has a private park just 1/2 block with a waterfall and swimming hole great for children, either 2 or 4-legged, where they can safely experience nature. There are restaurants nearby or you can take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill. There are TV's in every room, and a dog door that goes out to a large and secure fenced area for your pets to roam yet be safe. The house above is also a vacation rental. The two houses are completely separate from one another sharing nothing except the entrance to the driveway.

The house was rustic, cozy & very clean with a well-stocked kitchen. It was a little dark, and too warm for a fire, but we could imagine cozy evenings in the winter. My husband loved sleeping to the sound of the creek flowing in the very comfy bed. Our dog also enjoyed the enclosed backyard. Thanks for making our roadtrip destination memorable!

This place is absolutely lovely...it's beautifully quirky, which we loved! (There's a Larry (The Three Stooges) statue in the backyard for starters! Haha!) The balcony has very comfortable seating and tables. They provide absolutely anything and everything. It is a fully furnished and outfitted home. The backyard backing up to a rushing creek with large boulders is dreamy. We had so much fun! Our 2 dogs and 2 grown kids were in heaven, as were we. Each bedroom has a tv, as well as the living area. Beds are comfy. Hummingbirds are on full display at the feeder outside the dining room window. There's an abundance of kitchenware, towels, dog bowls and fairy lights! You can't go wrong with this property, and we're hoping to spend more time there in the future.

What a beautiful home and property. Clean, organized and such welcoming home. Great fenced area for our dog. Hot tub was clean and warm for a relaxing time under the stars. Home well stocked with everything we needed and extras provided. We loved our stay and hope to come back again.

We had a great trip to Yosemite, and this house was a big part of that. A charming house, with lots of thoughtful touches, and a wonderful location, right on the creek, close to Oakhurst for dining and shopping, and easy access to Yosemite. When we arrived we were greeted with many inviting touches including cookies, fresh flowers, a very clean house, pleasant lighting and music. We enjoyed using the hot tub, the fireplaces, all the lovely antiques, the hummingbirds, cozy blankets, and comfy bed. Highly recommend especially for the price.

The home was absolutely beautiful, and the kitchen was wonderfully well-equipped with everything we needed. My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing extended weekend here with our two dogs in this exceptional vacation rental that genuinely felt like a home away from home.The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the comforter was especially cozy—soft, warm, and inviting. The outdoor setting was just as remarkable, with a peaceful creek running through the property and surrounded by untouched natural beauty.I also adored the décor; as an antique lover, I especially appreciated the character and charm throughout the house—most notably the stunning fireplace in the master bedroom.We had a wonderful stay and will absolutely be returning.

The home was clean and scent free. We asked the owner to please not use plug ins or laundry soap and fabric softener that had scents, like Tide and Downey. She was so accommodating that she even bought hand soap that was scent free. My husband and son are very sensitive to these smells and they were so happy that you went the extra mile for us. The kitchen had lots of nice dishes and pots and pans. We made breakfast and dinner each day we stayed. We were even able to watch the baseball playoffs while cooking. We sat in the hot tub and that was great after our 1st day at Yosemite. We loved the antiques and the home was very comfortable. We would highly recommend staying at this very comfortable and cozy home. Such a beautiful location. Thank you to the host and for the delicious cookies that you made for us.

Cabin was wonderful when we walked in with music and warm wonderful clean smells. The fireplace did not work which was disappointing but they did try to get it working for us. All and all it was a wonderful and relaxing visit. We will be back.

This cabin was perfect for our family trip to Yosemite. It took us about one and half hours to the valley. There wasn’t an entrance line to get into the park which made it better for us. The kids loved the creek in the backyard. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The hot tub was clean, but too small for all six of us to use at once. The kitchen was well stocked and we were so glad we could cook a full meal while traveling. The host was responsive and helpful. It was a great stay!

The property was amazing and a great place to stay if not inside Yosemite.The 1 BR we used was comfortable and clean with a very good bed. The kitchen has everything one would want.The outdoor area was phenomenal. Simply sitting on the rocks to the creek was so relaxing and the hot tub was good (although we couldn't use it the first night due to cleaning). One consideration some might need to know is the hot tub likely wouldn't fit more than 2 people We would stay there again if in the area

We enjoyed our stay. The house has everything you need.The hot tub was very relaxing after a long drive. We also enjoyed sitting by the river and playing horse shoes. The mattresses in both rooms were too soft. The master bedroom bath sink had no cold water. The TV's streaming in 2 bedrooms did not work. It is a very quiet street which was nice on our walks.

This property fit our needs perfectly! Walking into the cabin was like walking into your gramma's house. Antique furniture and fixtures, the beautiful creek out back, and deck were were great features we enjoyed. The location makes easy access to Yosemite NP. If ever in the area again, we will definitely book this again.

Perfect summer getaway

This my second time at this amazing rental and it was even better than the last time! Bass lake is a short easy drive away and the river in the backyard is perfect to cool off from the summer heat. The hosts are wonderful and the home has everything you could need. Definitely looking forward to future visit!

This property is magical, and exceeded our expectations! From the moment we walked in to a cool, relaxing vibe with a candle lit and hand written note, to the most comfortable beds and sheets, and plush towels, to a private serene property and the gorgeous creek running through the back yard where us and the kids spent every day with our furry friend playing and swimming in! Every detail is thought of, we did not have to reach out to the host once. We will for sure be back! Thank you!!
