It’s an older property that is well maintained. Our room was small, but very comfortable. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The hotel is affordable and right on boardwalk/beach and they have a parking lot for their guests directly behind the hotel. We were happy with our decision to stay at the Lankford.

The property is very old. There was no coffee powder provided in the room, and there was no lift. I asked at the front desk, but they still didn’t provide any coffee. The AC was extremely noisy — it was unbearable, and we couldn’t sleep at all.

Very clean room. Had 2 bathrooms instead of one which was a pleasant surprise. Stayed in the raven room. 3rd floor which was a lot of stairs to climb but the room was beach front and right on the boardwalk. Parking was very tight and limited which was stressful.

Absolutely amazing. Friendly staff. I read complaints about them but encountered no issues. They are not overly chatty and will not talk your ear off. Great! Im here for my family, not the hotel receptionist conversation. Check in was a breeze and young lady behind counter extremely efficient. Room spacious and friendly. Yes the furniture is used and was not built last year but its solid and sturdy and very classic. Clarn towels, hot water, soft pillows. Perfect location to beach and boardwalk. I forgot cash to rent an umbrella. The guy gave me my rental with a promise that my husband would arrive within a few hours to provide cash. Check out is 10 am. So what? Most hotels are 11 but when im checking out of a room, im usually up packing so no big deal for me. At check out, a patron checking out asked to park their car up until 3 pm. Receptionist apologized and had to decline because others were checking in. I requested to park an additional 15 to 20 minutes and was reasonably accommodated. Parking lot is tight. One pass per room which was tough for us but we worked it out. No elevator and we were in an amazing top floor unit. No big deal for us because we are in great health however this may be challenging for those with small children or elderly. All in all. 10 stars. Will absolutely return and have no plans of giving those expensive chains anymore of our money. Booking my next stay right now.

The air conditioning in the room was nice. But the overall cleanliness of the rooms was not good. The cleaning lady did not clean the room when we first arrived. There were sand all over the room when we asked her to clean. They were still sand all over our room then the bed was off the track so we had to spend 20 minutes trying to figure out how to put the bedframe back together. There was a dirty toothbrush in the bathroom. The showers were not wiped down the towels all have stains on them. The front desk lady was extremely rude. When we first got there we tried to check in at first, she wasn’t there so I had to call customer service then when she finally was at the table, she told us that it would be 45 minutes to our room was ready mind you we booked the room earlier that day like really early then when we came back, she was just extremely rude about the room and getting upset The last day that we were there I need another parking pass because ours had fallen out the window, she refuse to give me another one and I end up spending $100 a park in front to make sure our car will not be towed the morning of us leaving. I talked to one of the people that are supposed to check the cars and he said that they’re supposed to issue us another parking pass if anything happens and we have proof she did not do that. I went to the front lady again and told her and she seemed annoyed. Did not enjoy

This property was okay at best, small as heck room, small bathroom, unpleasant staff except for the lovely lady who checked in. Was asked to be quiet during the middle of the day yet others were blasting music early in the morning and late at night and being loud late at night. The staff member we had an encounter with was a gentleman who was extremely rude and unpleasant they need to let him go.. location though was great. No breakfast and as the reviews say parking is tight if you have a bigger vehicle.

We liked that it was right along the boardwalk. It was not the factious place along the boardwalk but the room had the essentials. We wish it would have had a continental breakfast for all the guests. The best part we liked was the price. The price and the location will bring us back again soon.

A cute little hotel located right on the boardwalk. Efficiency room was perfect for my one night stay alone. Very quiet. Bakery located on site and you walk out the door and you are on the beach.

This hotel was worth the extra coinage per night. It was very affordable. It's in the area of 9th Street right on the boardwalk. This saves you from having to find parking before hitting the beach or the boardwalk. The rooms were clean. The bed, it wasn't to bad. The room came with a kitchen area, mini fridge, toaster, coffee pot, microwave, oven/stove, sink plus the cabinets had plates and cookware. Plenty of lighting inside the room. Nice size TV for when you want to kick back at night. It was also a nice old fashion hotel style. They used these things called keys for room access, no key cards. I stayed in the room called Willet. For being right on the boardwalk, the rooms were quiet. My only complaint is the parking lot for this hotel. The parking spots are tight. Do not take a large vehicle. I am skinny and I had trouble getting in and out of my vehicle due to vehicles in the spots next to me. You can guarantee I will be using this hotel for future vacations.
