“We enjoyed our stay here - although parking was a huge challenge. The unit came as advertised and was in a great location. We did a self check in, so no need to connect directly with the property manager. However she was a bit slow to respond on check in day when we needed assistance with the wifi. And the only info we could find in the unit was in Portuguese. ”

“Aside from the rainy weather our stay in Sao Bernardino has been lovely. A lovely beach side cafe/bar/restaurant in walking distance meant we haven't had to drive if we were spending the day close to home. When the sun came out it was glorious but apparently we picked the wettest March on record. The house was roomy with lots of windows and the beds were very comfortable. The host responded very quickly to all inquiries and all has been smooth.”

“Truly like staying in a castle! The stone walls and stairs were authentic. The garden was lovely with the wisteria in full bloom. There was plenty of room for the three of us senior citizens. Everything we could have asked for was there. One thing to note is that the castle grounds are hilly and cobblestoned, so people with mobility issues could have difficulty getting around. “Fantastic area right in the heart of the castle. However, tricky to get to as you need to park your car 10 minutes away and then navigate through the cobbled streets. The house is very quaint, but has damp issues so you can smell mould ( although it was winter, so maybe it is better in summer). Heating was a bit basic.
