“Room wasn’t clean upon check in. Dirty sheets, sticky floor, and some sort of sticky residue on the desk. Fridge was hot and had to be turned on for use. Keep this in mind if traveling with refrigerated medications. We were moved to another room and that room was missing a thermostat on the wall. We didn’t realize we only had one bath towel until we went to shower in the morning. Went down to the front desk to ask for one more towel and was told to be patient because housekeeping would be...

“Our room was fairly clean. The bed really needs a new mattress. Was a very old and tired bed. The AC unit was LOUD. I woke every time it came on. The room was very small. The cleaning staff came after the first night and replaced towels and soaps and removed a dead beetle. Which was perfect. Exactly what I wanted. The breakfast was ok. We didn't get down until 9ish both days. And there was very little waffle mix left the first day and none the second day. The eggs were circles...

“This is a great place to stay for a quick overnight it is a bit farther away from the highway than some of the other hotels. If you do not like highway noise but want to be close to everything, this is your place. It has been well maintained. It has plenty of grass to walk dogs”

“Wrote a Google review. It’s been renovated but just lipstick on a pig. Older fixtures and cracks/tears. Noisy. Charged us $13 each for standard ‘free breakfast’ everywhere else. Replied on Google that it was made-to-order option, which no one mentioned nor observed and other guests had same complaints around us. Most guests are staying next to the highway and close to fairgrounds for a mid-priced hotel. They’re trying for upscale, but it doesn’t work there. We won’t stay there again.”
