Hier wurde fĂŒr uns alleine (3 Personen) das Camp am Fluss bei den Hippos aufgebaut. Wir hatten einen Koch, ein Zeltbauer und unseren WildfĂŒhrer. Alle hatten sich super bemĂŒht und es war ein tolls Erlebnis. Das Essen war sehr gut fĂŒr diese Bedingungen und das Uebernachten war so wie bei den Pfadfinder, echt naturnah! âThe property was clean, but substandard in most areas. The welcome on arrival was pretty much non existent and we were told our confirmed Expedia booking didnt exist.
The room was very small and the shower more so. There was 1 towel for 2 of us, though another was delivered on request.
The aircon, which was essential leaked water when switched on. We put down a towel to catch the drips, but by morning the curtains (which incidently couldn't be opened) were drenched as was the towel we placed...
âKind staff, clean room. The big problem is that the hotel is not in the village as the location say, itâs on the other side of the river super far.â
âThe sink had no plumbing traps, so it smelled like a sewer if you hadn't used the sink for a while.
The lock to the door was really hard to both lock and unlock. I stayed in two different rooms, one didn't have the possibility to lock the bathroom.
No restaurant within walking distance and no possibility to make your own food except for a water boiler. Really low level of sounds proofing.

âWILL NOT HONOR YOUR RESERVATION. A member of my party arrived on the check in date with the confirmation from Hotels.com. The concierge informed them there was no record of the reservation and that the KESMO LODGE DOES NOT WORK WITH HOTELS.COM.
Hotels.com worked with me to resolve the issue, but the Kesmo Lodge was completely absent and not part of the solution. â
