La Dimora Tavolara is a recently renovated apartment consisting of a living area with a sofa that converts into a double sofa bed when needed, a dining table, and a fully equipped open kitchen; the balcony is accessible from this area. Continuing through the apartment, you’ll find the sleeping area with a double bedroom. Finally, a bathroom with a shower completes the layout of the apartment.

Overlooking the spectacular gulf dominated by the island of Tavolara, Olbia is the main tourist destination of northern Sardinia. The medieval Basilica of San Simplicio and the Archaeological Museum, which exhibits finds from Nuragic artifacts to Roman warships, stand out in the city center, while the archaeological site Nuraghe Riu Mulinu overlooks the gulf from the hills just outside the city. Some goat marinated in myrtle liqueur and some Gallura soup for a meat dinner, sea urchins, bottarga, mussels and oysters if you’d rather taste the local seafood. To accompany your meal, a good Vermentino di Gallura DOCG, and to end it, a delicious seada with honey and a glass of homemade myrtle liqueur.
