âIt's a stunning location right on the beach, and it's a short walk over the headland or round the bay, to Robin Hood's Bay.
Wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast. Clean room.
Super cafe bar. Relaxing seaside decor

âA superb hotel, the views are phenomenal, staff are friendly and approachable. Lots of choice for food, buffet breakfast and an extensive menu for other meals. The room was clean and well stocked. â
âWe have stayed at the Wilson Arms a few times now and its never disappointing, its dog friendly, with great staff/owners and the food is superb. shout out to the chef :-) . The rooms are always comfy and clean. We do events in Whitby and this is a great stay over for us. See you again soon. â
âA lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldnât recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby.â
âReturn visit like the area about 20-25 mins walk downhill to Whitby harbour area. Bus stop by school or Sainsburys minutes away.
Bedrooms clean and big for 2 people. Staff very friendly and helpful. Car parking free and if u forgot anything there is a sainsburys fee mins walk away
Breakfast has various choices to suit different appetite too and family friendly. Would return againâ
âA busy Inn in the heart of Whitby. Pub downstairs where live music is played until 23:00 and nice newly renowated rooms upstairs. Not possible to have breakfast in the morning due to the pub not being open. Once the pub is closed there's no place to be except for your room, no lounge or so but a nice place to stay at.â
âThe hotel was probably very nice 100 years ago. It is still charming but in need of A total renovation. The hotel is old, worn and neglected, but unfortunately the rooms are also dirty. Cobwebs and dust. Torn sheets and flies in the bathroom. It smells more or less everywhere. Unfortunately there is a lot of seagulls that pooped down the windows and they have nests outside. Nice and helpful staff in the reception, especially Barbara. The breakfast was not great. Manny who lived at the hotel...

Situated in a beautiful village with a lot of history, convenient to Scarborough too, a 40 min walk or a 4 minute drive away from the north side coast. â
âWell what a really pleasant place, surpassed all expectations. We stayed in The Horseshoe Suite and it was perfect for a short stay. Our only problem would have been the bath size - small, but the shower was more than adequate. The bed was very large and very comfortable with exceptionally white bed linen, every where was very clean and tidy.
