“The property is excellent, although I think the bed is too high. The shower is fabulous, the climate control system is great. Breakfast was excellent. My wife and I did not like the town, or the surrounding towns, but we did find really nice restaurants for dinners.”

“We absolutely loved Eileen’s at Mystic. Downtown Mystic can be a bit noisy, so we had no problem with the location being a 5-10 min drive away. Eileen’s is on a very nice, quiet street very close to 95, although you would never know it. Erin and Josh, the proprietors, met us at our check-in and were really friendly and helpful- showing us around the beautifully done 1700’s B&B. “It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. ”
