“I liked that the hotel was new and the decor had a great asthetic! The furnishings were nice and modern! The rating was lower because there was a motion sensor in the rooms and the lights went out several times including when I was in the shower. It was funny at first after we discovered the issue, but quite annoying when it happened repeatedly. “All I wanted was a tv and a good sleep in a clean place. The tv was a snowy mess. The AC was so horribly loud. The mattress was so uncomfortable and hot (plastic liner). Disappointed. And the parking situation just added to the negativity.”

“This was our second stay at this motel and I have to say it was as great of an experience as it was the first time. The owner is extremely friendly and went out of his way to ensure that our room was ready for us since we checked in exactly at 3pm. The motel is clean, comfortable and welcoming. “Waypoint Ventura is a treat, to say the least. All the vintage trailers are beautifully appointed and restored. Plus, the whole vibe in the place is just fantastic. Easy walkability to great restaurants and breweries. Looking forward to my next stay and trying a different travel trailer next time.”

“Amazing location! All rooms are on the beach with a view. Rooms are clean and staff is really nice. Plenty of parking included. Walkable area, plenty of restaurants and groceries nearby. That being said. Rooms are dated and carpet is old. We will definitely be back.”

“The room was nice and the location was great, close to both beach and the main shopping street. However, it was also close to the Amtrak rail where the trains signaled loudly at all hours (albeit only every two hours or so since it is Amtrak). Breakfast was served on paper plates which suited us fine but didn’t exactly give off an air of luxury. Lovely staff though, helpful with directions and with giving me a bag when I wanted to carry the breakfast up to our room. ”
