“We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. Housekeeping was daily and maids were very friendly. As mentioned previously, it is a steep hill up to the apartments but we found it walkable....

“This hotel was somewhat conveniently located in Lassi. If you have a car it does not matter that much, but if you're going to walk or go by bike it'll take some time to get into Argostoli town. I recommend renting a car on this island anyhow. The rooms were large and very nice! Ocean view from the balcony and everything. They also have a restaurant right next to the apartments, which is terrific for greek food. You'll see plenty of people coming to eat dinner here (not only the hotel guests)....

“Rummen var väl tilltagna och väldigt fräscha. Det ena rummet hade en skön dubbelsäng men det andra rummet hade två mindre sängar som var alldeles för små, de var lagom för barn. Läget för hotellet är vackert beläget ute på landet, men det finns inte så mycket restauranger eller affärer i närheten. Trädgården och poolområdet var väldigt välskött och fint. Servicen på hotellet var nästan obefintlig, det var inte ofta man såg en skymt av värden, receptionen var för det mesta obemannad.”

“There is special attention to detail at this property. Maria was kind and helpful with any request we asked. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. This was our first time to Kefalonia and this stay made it memorable. ”

“Pros: spectacular views, good amounts of space, clean and with functional aircon. Downside: 80s throwback in desperate need of repair and refurb, stranded on top of hill, with disappointing breakfast and patchy communication from the albeit quite friendly owners.”

“As soon as I arrived they knew my name. They take great pride in their apartments and it shows. The room was spotless and the pictures don't do them justice when it comes to the overall look and feel. The breakfast was also very good value for money and the restaurant by the pool was a lovely quiet spot in the morning to enjoy it. I would recommend this place to anyone and would happily stay again in a heartbeat. A real gem. ”

“Menia and Theodore were exceptional hosts. The apartment was cleaned daily (bins emptied, floors cleaned, bathroom cleaned and beds made). They checked on us continually to make sure we were happy. Would definitely recommend and know where to book in future.”

“Wifi-but no signal. Not good becouse we needed it to book other places on our trip and for work. Paid for 4 adults and got a room for 2 adults and 2 children on a lousy really bad couch. Need car to get there and out. Owner need to shape up!”
