This contemporary 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom home combines the best of proximity to the amenities of the historic township of Omeo, with the peace and tranquillity of extensive views to hills and mountains near and far.
Omeo's local attractions are a 5 minute amble away: heritage buildings, cafes and hotels, unique gold rush sites, picnic areas, fishing spots and swimming holes along Livingston Creek are all nearby, as is the new BMX pump track. Food and essential services are all easily reached.
Whether cycling the high country, an off mountain base for downhill or cross-country skiing, fishing, exploring the local area on foot or by car, or simply taking in the stunning views, watching the weather and indulging in a good book by the log fire, this comfortable home set on 4 1/2 acres is in an ideal location in the glorious fresh air and beautiful views of Victoria's high country.

Kayaking trip

We've been visiting the area for 40 years now and returned for a weekend of kayaking on the Mitta. Communication with Joanne was outstanding and everything was as expected or better. It's a great location, just a short walk from the Golden Age but facing towards the West with big views of the countryside. We particularly appreciated sitting out around the fire pit. A fantastic weekend!

Best Ski base with stunning mountain view at your doorsteps

Our family loves to ski and just discover this gem of a town, Omeo. 45 mins drive up and down Mt Hotham has never been this easy. Town is stunning with amazing bike park I have never seen anywhere else. The property is super stunning, up the mountain with gorgeous big front yard looking down to town. Property is packed with all essential amenity and comfort for our stay. Lots of kitchenette, sharp knife and full shade of dried woods for us to keep warm. Lots of clean towels, many sets of bedsheets and blankets for hygiene. Super pretty night sky with whole Milky Way in sight. We definitely have to return to this charming place. Thanks so much Joanne & Nicole for such great communication, giving us advise and make sure we have been looking after. Highly recommend this place.

Family Connections

We made the trip to connect with family members from our grandmothers family. We used Ocean views as a base and it served our needs perfectly. Our biggest issue was not having the numbers for the key lock before we arrived. We were worried we would be locked out. Otherwise a great weekend. Thank You.

Charming on the hill

The house was delightful. Big windows, super clean and great views. Location is on the very edge of Omeo. 2 minute walk to the pub. It was really lovely to stay on the hill and look across to the mountains.

Property is set up really well for a short stay comfortable well designed for family holiday! great wood heater and facilities for a week in the snow, or as we experienced several day trips exploring the local sites Would definitely return for another stint
