“Loved it, felt like a real local. Washer was a plus and included detergent! Fast responses and overall a great stay :) 9.8/10 a little bit dusty specifically the top of air conditioner but hey, it’s an older place, it was expected and part of the vibe. Recommend if you want to stay in a more traditional place hence the name of the place. ”

“Wonderful place to stay, we loved that the area was in a real neighborhood and not touristy. The only complaint is the main bedroom faces a an alley that has a motion activated light that shines bright on and off all night while you are trying to sleep. Dark shade would help this situation. ”

“今回の京都旅行で1番印象的なのが、長屋造りの宿舎です。チェックインの際のスタッフの方も親切で、事前に到着時間を伝えていて大通りまで出て出迎えて下さいました。また、効率的な付近の観光情報を教えていただきました。荷物も事前に配送させていただきましたので受け取り対応もして下さいました。長屋造りになっていて、お隣りが近いせいか隣の海外旅行者が玄関チャイムを押して私たちに台所の使い方を聞いてくる貴重な体験もありました。部屋が広くて古い造りで子どもたちは、大喜びでした。自転車で近所を回ることを楽しみにしていましたが、3日間雨で自転車に乗れず残念でした。”

“This was the perfect place to stay in Kyoto. There was the cutest bakery three doors down that had the best pastry and bread. Close to convenience stores and a grocery store. Close to bus stops and the castle! The location can’t be beat. The space was clean and spacious. Although I would suggest that the space is more conducive to those not worried about privacy and noise as the space is quite open. Overall I give this place a 10 out of 10! ”

“Tradition ancient Kyoto-style house in great location. Parking space right outside the house. Spacious living room and bedroom. Well equipped kitchen with tableware, cookware and seasonings. Narrow and slanting staircase to 2F so must be very careful when walking up and down.”

“This charming inn is an excellent accommodation for families. With two bedrooms, our family of five enjoyed a comfortable and spacious stay. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a second-floor bathroom, which meant we needed to descend to the ground floor each time we required restroom facilities. Despite this small drawback, the inn was otherwise exceptional and met all our needs perfectly.”

“Alles war perfekt, es ist ein wunderschönes traditionell japanisches Haus aber keines wegs altmodisch, im gegenteil sehr Modern, jeder Raum ist Klimatisiert und alle ist gut durchdacht. Einziger Negativpunkt ist der Check in, wir standen 20 Minuten vor der verschlossenen Tür weil wir den Code nicht bekommen haben und dann musste die Kyoto steuer erst noch bezahlt werden.”
