“We had a wonderful time at the UP Happy Place! What a beautiful home, complete with everything you would need, even a Keurig! Comfortable beds, internet and smart TV access, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, on and on I could go! Chad and Christel are excellent hosts and always ready to answer questions. Being right on Lake Superior was the icing on the cake. Easy check in and check out, it was just a beautiful stay from start to finish and we are looking forward to another vacation here when the fall...

“Cute vintage place had everything we needed and then some during our extended weekend we went to 13 waterfalls 2 beaches 2 lighthouses 1 casino all withing a few minutes or a couple hours from there!!! One complaint maybe a new toaster .... maybe otherwise highly recommend will come back !!!!”

“If you are looking for the perfect location in the Atlantic Mine/Houghton area we 100% recommend this property! Close proximity to Michigan Tech, trails, fishing, etc. Cabin was beautiful, clean, has everything you need for your stay (minus food, lol!), the property has fantastic trails for hiking, wildlife, and kayaks, paddle boards and canoe available, a small beach and great atmosphere. Will definitely book here again!!! There are multiple cabins available along with a dining hall type...

“This was the perfect location for exploring the U.P....you can go in almost any direction and find something to explore. The house was perfect for 5 adults. It got a little hot inside if you are there during the day but there was always a nice breeze outside. I would stay again!”

“We were in the area looking at properties for sale and these cabins are priced right and were exactly what we needed for our trip. Communication with the owner was top-notch. She is extremely friendly and wants you to enjoy your stay to the fullest. If our offer is accepted on one of the properties then we will be back in the area and will definitely stay at these cabins again. And next time we will use the sauna!”
