Awesome view of the lake and surrounding forest. Excellent host response when I mixed up the dates of my stay. Cleanliness of the studio was excellent! Looking forward to staying in the studio again!”

“This basement apartment is spacious, quiet, comfortable and very well appointed. The common room had comfy sofas and a nice table for working or playing games (many board/card games are provided). The two bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and had good closet and dresser space. The bathroom was pleasant and included a washer/dryer unit. “It's quite a lovely place in so many ways. The room is secluded and private, and the grounds are incredible. The story of how the current owners are carrying on the vision of the prior owners is inspiring. I'd love to come back in warmer weather to see everything in its full green.”

“Property location was relaxing and quiet. It is a bit out of town but not far from the ferry terminal. Probably best to arrive before dark, as location might be tricky to find. The owner and his dog were inviting and friendly. FYI...there are some resident sugar ants.”

“This was by far the best experience with a rental that we have had! Everything we could possibly need was provided by the host! The rental was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. There was extra towels, beds, tons of pillows and the most comfortable mattress I’ve slept on in ages! It was so invigorating to use the hot tub located right outside the unit. Everywhere you turn, there are little spaces, inside and outside, that are so inviting and cozy, and bring a sense of calm. You are surrounded by a gorgeous landscape, with sounds only of nature. I've stayed in lots of places, but none felt so much like "home". Can't recommend highly enough! And if you like dogs, you might get to play with Bodhi the cream golden doodle - he's awesome too!”

“I've used this listing several times in the past 6 months for stays from a few days to a week at a time. The studio is large, very well equipped, scrupulously clean and functions very well. The only thing to note, and it's not a complaint, is that there is a long staircase to access the unit. People with mobility issues should take this into consideration.”

“Out of all of the places that I rented this is the one where the pictures just do not do it justice! The place is amazing and so cool!! It’s much bigger than I thought and more breath taking than we can imagine! All amenities are included , wifi was awesome and such a private stay! If I could give a 10 star I would !! We only stayed a couple of days but you could stay much longer and be happy! The experience and pictures make it so worth it!!”
