“It was very clean with fun eclectic furnishings. We had trouble finding the property, even with GPS. We had trouble with the keyless lock, and it took a while for the property manager to get back to us via text. There was no on-site staff. To work the heater, we scanned the QR code, but those instructions weren't correct, according to the person we texted, who did text back promptly that time.”

“We arrived to the upper carriage house, where a nasty nauseous rotten meat smell filled the room. This was quite unexpected and unsettling. We could not use the refrigerator, as it smelled of rotten meat. We asked for a refund and were denied. We were not offered a partial refund. We were offered a complimentary night stay. However, we were told the offer only lasted a week. Due to our home location, this was not realistic. We were excited to stay at the Upper Carriage House, based on the...

“There was no hot water. We came down to Eugene for a concert and our plan was to get ready at the home before the show. To our dismay, we found out there was no hot water and were forced to use a teakettle for warm water. We were in a rush to get to the show so we didn’t get a chance to reach out to the host immediately but did contact them later. I never heard back about our concerns. We spent nearly $400 for a one night stay And we’re very disappointed at the overall appearance of the home...

“It talks about a private entrance but it isn't because there are multiple rooms in the basement of this property that get rented out. I had hoped to have a private getaway and instead i was greated with a shared entrance and steep shared parking on gravel. Also, when you walk into get into the door there isn't an indicator as to which key box your code is for. The "doors" to each room/space is just a sliding glass door. Extremely revealing as we could see into both our rooms and others...
