“It was warm when we walked in, that’s always a plus! Although it was pretty wet because my glasses steamed up. You should definitely have a dehumidifier running full-time in the living room as well as the bedroom this time of year. We got hail and intermittent heavy rains all weekend! Both propane heaters got it really hot and quick making it very comfortable after a long day elk hunting in the freezing rain. “The cabins are charming, have all necessary amenities and the hot tub and sauna are great to have. It’s just a couple of minutes to the beach along a quiet street. The cabins could use a thorough cleaning and it was impossible to clean during the stay since there wasn’t a properly working vacuum. There is also no dishwasher, so lots of family dish washing and drying time…Overall a nice stay and the property is fully fenced tho it is in disrepair but it was nice to have the dogs roam the yard.”

“This place is great! Small and clean with ample space to hang out and even cook. The literal only downside is that there is only 1 bathroom and the shower and toilet and sinks are all in there so there can be a lot of waiting depending on people's hygiene habits. Other than that it's a lovely and quaint spot nestled right in the woods on the lake. ”

“The house was clean and had everything we needed, the only minor quibble is that heating is through in-wall heaters that have to be adjusted in each room, but a lot of older houses are like this so it wasn't a huge surpise.The group at Vacasa was great to work with, there was an issue with the hot tub and they got a repair person out while we were still there (although we didn't end up using it). One of our kids did knocked a door off the hinges and they were great when we communicated with...

“Blue Octopus was truly adorable, kept in proper condition and check in and out was super simple and minimal contact which is very appreciated. Could wake up to the ocean waves, a luxury we haven't had since moving up from California.”
