Vacation at The Cove

Condo was clean and pics were accurate. Would not have been enough towels but I take my own but that could be bad if you do not. Beds were spring mattresses with metal coils and the master bed made loud noises when you would roll over or get out of bed. I think the bedroom should be dark and the curtains did not block any light. Overall the stay was enjoyable but would not stay in this room again.

Nice, but not as clean as we’d like

We had a great stay, overall. The check in process was easy, and the property was nice. The floor was pretty filthy and left the bottoms of our feet black, and the white furniture could use a thorough cleaning. There was no broom or mop available to clean the floor, and I didn’t feel comfortable waking around bare footed. Overall our stay was good, but cleanliness does count for a lot, and it was lacking.

Beautiful condo, highly recommend!

I booked a 5-night stay for myself, my two boys, and my mother so we could have our "trip of a lifetime" Disney experience and this condo did not disappoint! Incredibly spacious, impeccably clean, close to all amenities and to the theme parks, convenient access through concierge at main gate and to community club house amenities. The clubhouse is lovely, great food and drink for purchase and well-kept pools and play areas with lots of seating. We will be recommending this listing to friends and family and hope to return one day!

Family Vacation

First off we use VRBO all the time. We have stayed all over the country using this site. Rental was easy, then we got a welcome email a few days before the trip and it really wasn't welcoming. It pretty much listed all the things you can do that they will charge you extra for. We walked in looking for things wrong and taking pictures because we were so worried about there being additional charges. For they way the email made it sound if we didn't clean after ourselves, it wasn't that clean when we got there. We have tons of pictures as proof. We also got the door open with the keypad but then it would not lock. We called and after about calling 4 times finally got a live person we got a physical key to lock doors. Sent an email that night explaining place had some cleaning issues and that the air conditioning wasn't working. Never head back from anyone. Our last day we got back to condo and with air running it was 80 inside. I called 3 times before I got someone. He gave some troubleshooting ideas and asked us to call back in 20 min if temp didn't drop. 20 min later it was up to 83 in condo. I called back and never got back through. Finally got a message thru VRBO site with them saying sorry they didn't know there was an issue with the air. Maintenance would be out the next day. No idea if they came out because we were gone by then. Also they asked that we put the garbage in a bench outside the door. No such bench exists. I asked what to do and was told to leave it upfront on the sidewalk. Saw other guests leaving that morning and nobody else was putting garbage on the sidewalk. Overall extremely stressful stay. To worried about using the wrong towel or making any kind of mess for fear of being charged extra. Will not be back and really feel we are owed money back for this stay.

Clean, convenient, generally good with a few issues

We stayed 5 nights and the apartment was clean and provided everything in the listing. Overall it was a good stay, and the pool was really nice to have. We have some feedback, meant to be constructive. We did not receive check in information before arrival and were not able to get it right away when we arrived. We did get it about 30 min later after calling twice. There is a very bright security light that shines into the master bedroom window. We recommend room darkening shades for future guests. We bought sleep masks at Walmart, and that helped but the first night before the masks left us sleepless. After arrival we went to Publix to purchase laundry detergent (none provided), dishwasher detergent (one single use provided), coffee (we knew this was not provided and expected to buy it), and coffee filters (not provided). It was hard to bring the leftover products home on the plane, especially the liquids. We needed more toilet paper (2 rolls total provided for 4 people for 5 nights is not enough). Checkout instructions asked for trash to be put outside the front door in a bench. There was no bench so we left it outside the door on the ground. The staff knocked on our door and told us we couldn’t leave it there or we would be fined to our credit card. Please provide more clear instructions. Again overall it worked out pretty well and we enjoyed our stay but would suggest addressing these items.

Great stay! Very clean and organized!

Had an awesome long weekend here with friends. Nice clean appartment with lots of room. The lazy river and bar at the pool area were awesome. Only complaint was the hall light coming in from the window in bedrooms all night. Could be fixed with blackout shades. Great overall stay, definitely recommend!

Amazing location

I had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house was beautiful , barely heard anyone above us it was rare. And the clubhouse is a great addition to the stay. Would definitely come back. This was my first time staying in Florida and I will stay here again when I come back in the future.

1st Vrbo experience

This was the 1st time choosing a Vrbo property and it was not a good experience. For starters the host does not offer late checkout. According to the host it was because the place was booked for the same day as our departure, but when I checked the app there was still availability for that day. My wife found hairs in the bed, and glass on the floor, and the place was very dusty. The patio looked like it had never been cleaned and was full of bugs and spiders that would enter the unit when you opened the door. (Not good for kids with arcana phobia). There was a leak from the vent fan in the master bedroom that created a pool of water in the floor that caused my son to slip and fall. The wifi was down most of our stay without resolution. The host takes forever to respond and doesn’t seem to care much about rectifying any issues you may have. The resort is very nice but the staff is very rude and unprofessional. Overall terrible service. I do not recommend it, especially if you have small children.

Short stay

Close to fast food restaurants and restaurant food chains, and walmart. It's close to Disney, but kinda of far from universal. We enjoyed the small water park on the grounds, spent 1/2 day there. The unit was comfortable and the right size for us.

Vacationer’s BEWARE unless u want to pay for dust, dirt & grim

Ok so we stayed this property for 5 days and those advertising pics they use to grab your attention is just that!!! I wish I could attach pics but it had dusty dirty baseboards, dirty/dusty light switches, light fixture in the dining was soo dusty I wrote clean on it, dusty ceiling fans, gritty bathroom sinks, dirty curtains with stains, mattress pad in master had yellow stains on it, No bathroom hooks to hang any towels!, it was bugs stuck to microwave lights, bugs nesting in kitchen corner wit nets flying(video). I tried contacting the lady by txt within the 1st 8 hrs of our stayed to address these issues and I am still waiting then we contact the host and he NEVER apologize for our horrible experience but he will fwd these “concerns to maintenance team. This is a very accessible area but this unit was gross and flared up my allergies. I feel like we were scammed…

Easy peaceful trip

Check in was super easy Property was as pictures show We were close enough to pool/clubhouse…but also far enough so it was really quiet. Plenty of parking. Close to practical shopping (grocery, target). Will def do again

Upstairs neighbors NOISY!!!

Upstairs neighbors NOISY!!! 24/7 Running around in upstairs unit day & nigjt noise! Footsteps,… water running,… restroom,… etc,… we didn’t sleep Comfortably in 7-days! Would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS UNIT!!!

Enjoyed everything

Very clean and well throughout condo. My only complaint was the TV’s were difficult to use. Remote batteries were dead or missing and some explanation or instructions on how to use the system would’ve been helpful. Other then that it was very clean and in a great area. Very simple process to book and check-in/ check out.

Family vacation!!!!!! And this property provided us with everything we needed to enjoy a great stay in the area, one of the real highlights of our stay everyone down to the kids loved it, although we didn’t get a chance to utilize the water park it was nice knowing it was a part of the accommodations, definitely would recommend this property and most certainly would book a stay again
