Centrally located and nice community

Hey there! I'm excited to share that this will be my fourth time staying at Storey Lake (in different units, of course!). While the rental cost here is a tad higher than some other gated communities, the fantastic location makes it totally worth it. You're just 25 minutes from MCO, 25 minutes from the Florida Mall, and only 5 minutes from Walmart! Plus, there are plenty of great eateries just a hop away. I stayed in unit 207 on the second floor. Just a heads-up: the floors are wooden, so if you happen to have little ones stomping around above you (like I did), you might hear some extra foot traffic (lol). Check-in was super easy! Sometimes, there can be a bit of a wait at security, but it wasn’t too bad this time. The place is really clean, and the view is lovely! I didn't get a chance to use the water park this time, but it's definitely a fun spot for both adults and kids. Can't wait for another great stay!

Don't rent this unit!

There were SOOO many issues with this property! The listing shows a ceiling fan in the king bedroom, but there is definitely NOT a ceiling fan (I contacted Deconova about this and was ignored). We had dirty sheets on king bed upon check-in (sent photos and contacted multiple times to have them changed and they never came). No blankets in condo (sheets and gross comforters only). King mattress has a thick plastic mattress covering that is EXTREMELY loud (don't plan on being able to sleep if you move at all). No dressers or stands to hold suitcases. Musty smell throughout the unit (this was addressed). Fruit flies are EVERYWHERE. I will never rent from Deconova Vacations again - non responsive and unprofessional. There are way too many other options in Orlando.

Disney Vacation

We visited this property and it was fabulous! It was spacious with 2 baths and the extra futon was useful. The cabinets were fairly stocked cups, plates, utensils, pots and pan. If bringing food in, don't forget the salt and pepper as we did. The only cleanliness issue was the floor, our feet were black from walking around barefoot. A swiffer or wetjet mop would have come in handy. Also, there was bloody boogers on the wall in the bathroom, they were quickly handled by some clorox wipes we brought with us. The pool was great, we didn't get to enjoy the lazy river and pool there as it was way overcrowded. All in all it was a very pleasant stay at a competitive rate. Thank you!
