“It was cozy and cute. They allowed us to check in early and they were very accommodating. It was a short walk to the beach and the weather was beautiful. The fire pit was a nice touch as we were excited about making s'mores. This was one for the books. Definitely go back! ”

“Great property and close to Tawas for shopping and Lake Huron. Beautiful sunsets. Loved having a washer and dryer. We were a little disappointed that the Sand Lake access wasn’t closer but it all worked out. We drove to Lake Huron and swam in the Great Lake. ”

“We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. If we stay next year my son and I may just kick his ass....we were tempted to...

“We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places. Our only downside was the beds were small (they are listed as double — so I just thought in my head...

“My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. Located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood and just two blocks from the main downtown area, this cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Hosts were quick to respond to messages prior to our arrival. No issues. Definitely would stay here again!”

“If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Everything was wonderful. Clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. They even had kayaks on site and sand toys for the kids. The Weber grill was perfect for grilling out every night. The swing set meant the kids were always entertained. The hosts were so responsive from start to finish. Access to Oscoda for groceries was quick and easy. Beach was private, not crowded, clean and overall just lovely every day. Cannot wait to return! ”
