We were going to give this property a 4-star rating as we overall had a good trip while we were there. The house was spacious, decently clean, and the check in process was smooth. The house is outdated, so there were baseboards that were falling apart, the fan in the master bedroom made loud sounds when on, and there was other wear and tear issues. However, our experience post-trip was quite difficult with the owners. After a week of our trip, they emailed us that they will be charging $200 for scratches on the master bathroom door. We disputed and then they sent us random pictures of a broken umbrella (we did not use one), stains on bedsheets (?), and told us that the house was in the worst condition. We thought it was highly disrespectful as I mentioned how we valued other people’s homes and even sent them pictures showing how clean we left their place. However, we did not take pictures of every room, so for anyone renting please make sure to take lots of pictures when you leave or they will charge you for whatever they wish. I would also recommend checking your credit card for expenses incurred as our company told us that they put a recurring charge of $200 on our card. We have disputed the charges but if you are renting with them please be sure to check.
