“Quick 5 day getaway in between busy family schedules! Enjoyed the relaxed pace of Tybee and access to Savannah. Salty Mermaid checked all the points for us…serene lagoon pool, clean hot tub, private setting. We traveled by plane so were unable to bring a lot of “extras”…our host had us set up for not a need in the world!”

“I am happy with our recent stay and would recommend Mariners Cottage with a few exceptions (read on). We were in town for my sister in law’s St Patrick’s Day weekend wedding. I was trying to find a place near the house she had rented and this was only about 3 blocks away, which was nice. “Our stay at the cottage was absolutely perfect. I have never stayed in a rental that was exactly as listed. It was so beautiful. Location was perfect. You can walk to almost any location in the downtown area. The cottage was so clean. I'm OCD and couldn't find any area that wasn't clean. Also, the extra little things matter. “Our stay was great! Number one Mary was such a pleasure, she is super responsive and accommodating. The home is full of charm and it’s cozy. Mary has it equipped with everything you need for your stay. It really did feel like home away from home. The location was perfect! Right across the street from the park and 5mins uber or 15mins walk to everything! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this home for your next visit. ”

“This was a rustic beach home, fine for an affordable stay on Tybee, but near enough to Savannah too. The weather was not very cooperative (September). Rain flooded driveway and only the basics in kitchen (no can opener!). But overall, a lovely place. Very clean and quiet.”

“Great spot in a great location. Very walkable neighborhood. Very clean unit and great communication from the property management. My only complaint was some of the furniture wasn't super comfortable - the couch for example was not comfortable, it was fine but not the type of couch you could curl up on and watch a movie. The patio furniture was also not a place you could spend too much time without getting uncomfortable. Other than that, I highly recommend this unit. ”

“The property was clean and check in very easy. Only thing I can say was unique about the property is the levelness of the floors and walls. They are not level in most rooms so it makes you feel kind of off balance when walking around. Overall it’s a cute beach cottage in a great area! ”
