“We arrived later than planned and called ahead - this wasn't a problem. Room was clean, shower hot with great pressure, bed super comfy and breakfast was delicious (we'll definitely be back to dine for lunch or dinner!). Place is wonderfully done throughout and staff all kind and approachable. We could hear loud snoaring from the adjacent room (nothing some white noise can't drown out on our phones!) but we appreciate it's part of staying in an old characterful property. Great value for money...

“I have to stay in St Albans for work from time to time and Torrington Hall is my favourite place to stay. It has so much more character than some of the soulless hotels I have stayed at in the area. It is well located for the town center and the cathedral. The rooms are generally well presented although, because each is different, some are nicer than others.
