“The Read is a lovely old hotel. Unlike many similar hotels in towns across the country, the Read does not seem down at the heels, with its best days behind it. It clean, well-maintained, the rooms are comfortable and the staff is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. When we pass through Chattanooga, we generally try to stay there.”

“Perfect hotel for the destination. My only complaint is that there’s only one elevator so that takes a while sometimes particularly around checkout and the breakfast wasn’t good but for what it’s worth it’s a great hotel ”
