“We had a very comfortable stay at Franklin Terrace bed and breakfast! Paul is the sweetest person and he takes best care of his customers. It is centrally located and easy walk to Main Street. It’s nice to know that it’s recognized as national historic place. The structure is originally erected in 1887!! If there’s something to complain, the bed is too soft for our convenience and one of the staff Kelly can be little bit more friendly.”

“We stayed here for a night on a trip down south, and we were blown away with how nice the room and property were. The owners were extremely generous and provided us with smores to cook with our kids in the fireplace in the covered porch area. Couldn't recommend this place enough ”

“This placs is absolutely amazing. Its nice and quiet and the beauty of the water and the comfort of the rooms are definitely some reasons that we will be back. There are lots of places to eat and entertainment in the surrounding area. We had a kitchenette and it had everything we needed had we decided to cook and eat in the room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. ”

“The air in our room was very bad. All the clothes were damp when we woke up in the morning. The pool was cold but the kids loved it. The breakfast was poor but ok. The beds where comfortable. The staff where all very friendly.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Highlander Mountain House .. with a few caveats. First the good: The staff were friendly and helpful, the location is ideal - right in the heart of downtown easily walkable to many shops and restaurants. The room was attractive with soft linens and quality toiletries. However, the room was very small, and as such it didn't feel like the owners utilized the space efficiently. The nightstand space on each side of the bed was decorated with snacks (for purchase),...

“I only stayed overnight and I wished I'd had more time because there are so many things to do and see. It's just s gorgeous place. It was peaceful in my room. I enjoyed the balcony the next morning with my coffee. I plan to return and stay longer.”
