“I like the old school feel the property has. Upon arrival we were told that the property was under new ownership and things were different. We needed to wait until exactly 2pm to check in and could not use the amenities until we checked it. This was different for the past.”

“We had never visited Ouray and were looking forward to it. We booked our room and when we arrived to check in, the staff pointed to a Kiosk right there in the lobby to check ourselves in. After doing so, we were told our room was 'across the street' on the back side of their second building . Stone driveway... potholes, difficulty parking as the "lot" was small and very close to the building next to it - I had difficulty even turning my truck around in the parking area. We saw the...

**A clean, comfortable stay in Ridgway, CO**
Chipeta Lodge was a great find in Ridgway. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with three people and a dog, and it worked out great. It's an older property, but it's been kept very clean and well-maintained. Beds and pillows were comfortable, with plenty of room to spread out. Staff couldn't have been more accommodating, the pool was lovely, and towels were always well-stocked.
One note: the sofa bed room has blinds...
