“The room was perfect for us. Everything was clean and tidy. The walk to the ocean was very easy just up a couple steps to the deck and out to the dunes. Beautiful views from the deck closest to the beach. We are definitely planning another long weekend stay. Although we didn’t meet with the host because of our schedule differences, they were absolutely wonderful people. We talked to Carol Ann several times by phone and text. “Great location for beach access at Nags Head (less than one block from the nearest public beach access) and for quick trips around the town and Kill Devil Hills. The outdoor shower was really nice also. It was one of those times when the host and my family’s preferences lined up well from a host recommendation standpoint and we enjoyed almost all of the recommendations from Morning Cafe, to BootyTreats, to Jockey’s Ridge at sunset, to Corolla wild horses, the list goes on and on. “The upstairs in a private home has been converted into a charming room with private entrance and a bathroom. Wonderful scenery from the private porch is very much like sitting in a treehouse. Lisa is a delightful hostess and has provided almost all the amenities of home. Everything from her own beautiful artwork on the walls to the bug spray on the table on the porch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.”

“Host was quick to respond to my user error in working the air conditioning units. The house was spotless. My son left his retainer and they contacted us and are mailing them to us. We will stay here again. The only thing to keep in mind is that the rain runs off the roof right on to the pathway into the house. Only a slight inconvenience.”
