“What a view! This quaint, rustic cottage boasts a gorgeous view of the lake from its living room window. It is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We spent our days exploring Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, chasing waterfalls and seeing local sights. Our evenings were spent sipping wine by a fire in the beautiful stone fireplace. My husband enjoyed fishing from the dock in the mornings. We would book this cabin again if we returned to the area.”

The high point of this trip was spending lots of time on the water with the owners paddle board, kayak and canoe. “The started off a little rocky, but our host was most helpful. We enjoyed wonderful weather (even thunderstorms in the UP are amazing), saw unmatched natural beauty, and managed to find a few special rocks. We definitely will come back.”

“Traveling with 3 adults, 3 kids 1-13 and 2 dogs and we all fit. Cottage was very clean, air conditioner worked wonderfully and communication with the host was prompt. The kids loved the fishing, kayaks and paddle boats. The neighbors were great and very friendly. I highly recommend Van Cleve park and Gladstone beach if your traveling with kids. Even the neighborhood dog “Gus” was welcoming ”

“We stayed here several nights. It was easy to get to. The cabin was fully furnished. Right on the river. Centrally located to what we were visiting in the area. Host was quick to respond. It is a rustic area and the cabin felt rustic as well. We couldn’t beat the view! Would return, for sure! ”

We were able to see lakers/ships pass in front of the cabin when the weather was clear as well as see stars from inside the cabin with the large picture windows. There is one bedroom with a double and twin bed and there was a king bed in the master bedroom which was very comfortable.
