“Very cute place rental and convenient to Cornell. Price was very reasonable. We would recommend this place to others and definitely stay here again. Some extra amenities would be a very nice addition such as having some extra TP, hand/ dish soap (shower soap was empty), paper towels, napkins, etc. There was coffee which was awesome-- we had brought our own so we were all set. “We have family in Johnson City, and this was a perfect location for us!! We loved staying in this beautiful home. The owners have done an excellent job renovating and renovating with creativity!! Every decoration in this house was chosen with care. We had everything we needed, including hand soap and filtered water! Both much appreciated. Communication was great and very responsive to any needs we had, which weren’t many. Looking forward to our next stay!!”

“The property was clean and matched the photos. However, the listing is misleading. This is a unit in a house; you do not get the entire house, as there are other occupants on the other side. The big issue with this rental was how unaccommodating the host was when we requested to leave our suitcases after check-out. He did not try to help at all, which I thought was really inconsiderate on his part.”

“It was a cute little older home. With nice updates on the inside. They are definitly doing work to the exterior. In the description it said there was a grill. Which there was unfortunately there was so many large black trash bags you could not get to it. The first step at the side walk was broken. And the railing inaide was very loose. “House was in a good location and my family enjoyed the drive way as we drove under the trees. Its about 10 to 15 mins to ithica and close to the state park there as well. A few things Id like to suggest is Central air. Each room had a portable heater unit which was nice but also had to be managed individually. Central air would help in keeping the house warm or cool with convenience in mind. The dishwarsh was also not working. It wasnt too bad for our family to wash the dishes but it took time...

“Our family of three generations gathered for Christmas and we had an amazing time. The house was lovely - clean, beautifully furnished, and comfortable. We were lucky with some mild weather on Christmas day which allowed us some time outdoors, but I can imagine how nice the outside area must be during the warmer months. “This was our second stay at the Cayuga Homestead! Despite the rainy weather, everything was excellent. We enjoyed the TV on the main floor and watched many movies and relaxed. Kids had fun playing games in the basement. Kitchen had everything we needed and we took advantage of the waffle maker this time. What a hit! Excellent communication from Daura. Highly recommend!”
