Fritidshus i Oxford

“Joy’s Place was the perfect home away from home for our family. Oxford is our hometown we grew up in. Over the past 39 years we try to visit at least once a year. It’s always nice to return to visit with family and friends and see how our hometown is growing. Joy’s Place offered everything we needed during our four night stay. The house was very well laid out and spotless. The beds were comfortable with great pillows. The bathroom towels and wash were also great quality. Everything we needed was...

“What a find!!!! This little cottage hit our needs right on the nose. Her thoughtfulness with all things is tremendous! Beautifully renovated. I will be bringing my BFF next time so that we can explore. My husband and I came down to look at a house at the last min...found a local realtor and will be back hopefully permanently!”

“Location was wonderful. Very clean and as advertised.”

“Such a unique property. It felt like we were staying at someone’s lake house. So many homey touches throughout - eye mask in bedside nightstand, coffee, creamer, sweetener in kitchen plus well stocked seasonings. Blankets in den and bedroom. Lots of towels. The grill was great for our steaks we picked up at the Piggly Wiggly nearby.”

“The host was very kind and the inside was very nice. I had trouble getting the lockbox information to get the keys and the WiFi information. However, the outside is not very nice. It doesn’t look like a place you’d want to stay from the outside. I’ve been to Europe twice and it does not feel like the European countryside that close to someone’s house in the backyard. Again, the inside was very nice, but the outside is not.”

“Clean, cozy, and comfortable atmosphere.”

“Cute cottage. Close to town. Close to Trillium Winery.”
