“Clean and secure cabin that is a duplex. Somewhat dated with a few dings on the walls and exterior that could use new paint/stain. No stove but there were several small appliances to cook with i.e. slow cooker, skillet, toaster. Bed was clean and comfortable. Could benefit from an additional reading light behind recliner. Everything worked and would not hesitate staying here again!”

“Would recommend better bed pillows. And possibly a couple more. ”

“My husband and I came with our dog to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Our dog absolutely loved playing with the property dog, Kevin, in and out of the water. We spent our time hiking different areas in Shawnee, and thought this cabin was a great central location. The firepit (with free wood), patio set up and location were absolutely perfect! Marion has an adorable town square that is a 10 minute drive away. We had some fabulous meals in Marion, so we didn't do any cooking at the cabin....

The cabin was very clean and had lovely decor that made it so inviting. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend if you are looking for the perfect little getaway. ”
