“A toaster would have been nice to have. The fridge froze food. Bath towels were small and very worn. The location was convenient. Host was very responsive. Comfortable and clean.”

“Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. Again, very cool house but just think...

“Couple of things we feel could be improved: hand towels and more bath towels and wash cloths. When on vacation don’t want to do laundry every day. Had to rewash some dirty dishes prior to using. Would be nice to have Kleenex. Was quiet as advertised. Overall enjoyed our stay! Could not figure out how to get soap out of dispenser on kitchen sink.”

“House is located in quiet neighborhood. As described with 3 bedrooms 1 bath. Had adequate towels and supplies in kitchen. Cleanish, was not sure if sheets had been cleaned. Overall, a decent place to stay.”

“Good communication from host. Location was close to shopping and Old St Charles shops . The condition of the actually place was not the greatest …. Lots of broken blinds , holes in multiple spots. No items in shower was an inconvenience. The pot smell coming from downstairs occupants was not the best but out of control of host . Improvements -Would have loved some lamps in living area ,a place to put feet up to relax while watching TV and possible throw in the cooler temps . ”
