Tiny Elk Cabin - Cozy Packwood Stay Near Mt. Rainier & White Pass

Welcome to Tiny Elk Cabin, a cozy mountain getaway tucked away in Packwood, WA. The perfect home base for exploring Mt. Rainier, skiing at White Pass, hiking, or simply slowing down in the mountains.

Inside, you’ll find a warm, modern-rustic space with everything you need to settle in and relax. Curl up by the electric fireplace, enjoy a slow morning with coffee, or unwind after a day of exploring.

THE SPACE

Tiny Elk Cabin is a cozy 400 sq. ft. tiny home tucked into a quiet neighborhood in Packwood. Inside, you’ll find a private queen bedroom, an open loft with two Twin XL beds, a full-size sleeper sofa, a full kitchen, and a cozy living area with an electric fireplace.

The cabin sleeps up to 6 guests and the kitchen is stocked with dishes, cups, utensils, and essentials for 6. Because this is a true tiny home, indoor seating and dining space are limited and do not accommodate all 6 guests at once. It’s most comfortable for couples, small families, or smaller groups who don’t mind getting cozy.

SLEEPING SPACES

The private bedroom features a queen bed, closet space, and two nightstands with convenient charging ports and USB outlets.

Upstairs, the open loft has two Twin XL beds and two bean bag chairs for lounging. The loft overlooks the living area below and is accessed by steep stairs.

The living room also includes a full-size sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space.

KITCHEN & LIVING AREA

The full kitchen is stocked with the basics needed to prepare meals during your stay, along with dishes and kitchenware for up to 6 guests. There is no dishwasher, so dishwashing supplies and a fresh sponge are provided.

Relax by the electric fireplace, stream your favorites on the Smart TV, stay connected with Wi-Fi, or simply unwind after a day of exploring the mountains.

OUTDOOR SPACE

One of our favorite features is the oversized partially covered deck, offering plenty of additional space to relax and enjoy the mountain air.

Guests have private access to the entire property, including the cabin, covered deck, and outdoor space. The yard is not fully fenced and is mainly gravel.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

• Tiny Elk Cabin sleeps up to 6, but due to the 400 sq. ft. tiny-home layout, there is not indoor seating or dining space for all 6 guests at once.

• The loft is open to the living area below and is accessed by steep stairs. Children should be supervised at all times in the loft and on the stairs.

• Because this is a tiny home, the smoke alarms are close to the kitchen and can be sensitive while cooking. Please use the vent fan and crack a window when needed.

• The cabin has a smaller hot water tank. During back-to-back or longer showers, hot water may run low and need a little time to reheat between uses.

• Packwood is home to abundant wildlife, elk and deer are frequently seen throughout the area. Black bears and cougars also live in the surrounding region and may occasionally be spotted.

• Pets are welcome! The property is not fully fenced, so please supervise pets outdoors and clean up after them. Doggie bags are provided, and a $50 pet fee applies to help cover additional cleaning.

• RV hookups are available for an additional fee.

EXTRAS FOR YOUR STAY

A few additional conveniences are available during your stay, including a toddler inflatable bed, folding card table with four chairs for extra dining or game space, umbrella, iron, and extra blankets, pillows and bedding stored in the bedroom closet.
