This Cozy Cabin sits on a beautiful farm property with a front porch that over looks the pond... great place for a cup of coffee! The cabin has all the amenities needed to make your stay enjoyable. We offer self check-in, but I will be available for any questions or problems that may occur during your stay.

The space
Everything that you see in the cabin you are more than welcome to use. There’s nothing off-limits except fishing in the pond that you intend to feast on as this pond is for catching and release only. These fish are our babies! ABSOLUTELY NO HUNTING ON THIS LAND!!!! OF ANY KIND.

We’d love for y’all to feel right at home, and part of that is knowing you’re always welcome at the little non-denominational church just around the corner from us. We gather on Wednesdays at 6:00 for Bible study and Sundays at 10:30 for service. If you’d like to join in, we’ll be glad to point you the way — you’ll be met with a smile, a handshake, and that true small-town hospitality that makes you feel like family. It’s a sweet part of our community, and we’d be delighted for you to experience it while you’re here.

Guest access
Our guests have access to the cabin, property, and driveway, but firmly we warn that there is absolutely no hunting permitted on this land..., but it is our wish that you Enjoy every bit of the land and all of your time at this property. We love welcoming guests, friends and family to enjoy our little slice of heaven and all of it’s beauty. We feel blessed to share our cabin and our tranquil 30 acre farm.. but again absolutely no hunting and we do not allow “partying” of any kind..

We do not allow any hunting of any kind because there are homes off in the distance and our animals are safe on this land and we plan to keep it that way. We love the beauty of the farm and love, love, love, our cabin and it is our hope that you will too!
This is why we call our little cabin The cozy cabin..

Other things to note
It has been brought to our attention that it may be best to disclose that with a cabin of this type, the stairs may be considered steep or hard for some individuals(not for us in our 60’s yet (thankfully) or our family, but we see how it could be for somebody), so here we are putting the information out there, just in case this could be an issue for you or yours. Rest assured that we have remedied this concern with the option to use the sofa bed offered on the first floor.

Next thing we’d like to make you aware of is that we invite you to Please enjoy the outside barbecue, coals, and lighting fluid, as well as, our fire pit! The cabin is located in a wooded area and you are welcome to use any fallen wood you see or you can bring/ purchase your own firewood. (most stores locally sell small bundles)

Additionally, we ask that you please be mindful of leaving the doors open while you grill and hang out, as you are only inviting in spiders, ants, mosquitoes, flies, bees, horse/corn flies, stink bugs, many other insects, mice, birds, snakes, bats, foxes, coyotes, raccoons, skunks, and deer. This truly is their wooded wonderland, they lived here long before us :)

If the possibility of having an encounter with Mother Nature makes you uncomfortable, then our little cabin may not be a good fit for you.
