Sie hat immer sehr schnell auf unsere Nachrichten geantwortet. Das Haus ist das letzte auf dem Hügel. Der Blick ist wunderschön und macht es wieder gut das man 10 min in die Stadt fahren muss. “Für Genießer, die den Alltag nicht nur verdrängen, sondern vergessen möchten. Mit einem Ausblick in die Ebene, die nach Grosseto führt, der nur schön ist. Die Schotterstraße zum Haus ist kein Problem. Das Erdgeschoss mit den alten Steinmauern ist auch tagsüber kühl, im Obergeschoss wird‘s da schon wärmer. "It's difficult to navigate the narrow streets of Montalcino with a car, but the village is well worth it. The hotel is small and the staff very friendly. The view over the landscape from our room (towards the north-east) was breathtaking. No dinner, but a very good breakfast buffet with excellent coffee. The village is good for a few walks, but perhaps even better as a base for excursions; we took a day in Siena. Restaurants are better value than in the larger cities."
