“Very enjoyable experience staying at the Gondwana Hotel in Noumea. The staff were excellent; friendly, welcoming and helpful. The morning breakfast was enjoyable and the location provided an excellent base from which to explore this lovely part of New Caledonia.”

“Such a beautiful location. Stayed in room 168 in the overwater bungalows and it was fantastic! Beautiful water, turtles outside our room everyday. Room was lovely and clean. Bed was very comfortable. We were able to snorkel and kayak. Had options for waterboarding, jet skiing and water bikes too. Breakfast was great, lots of options. “Food and the service level are really bad. Tried to order room service twice, they told me they are very busy and will call back which never happened, so we gave up. Booked the Japanese restaurant one night, when we arrived they told us there is no table available (luckily, since the place looks really awful). Plenty of options nearby 5mins from the hotel. “Liked being away from the city and close to the Mangroves walk. Loved the little shop so a night in with snacks and meals was easy. Very helpful staff even if little English was spoken, we managed :-)”
