“Owner was very nice and gave clear directions and had lots of nice beach gear to loan. It is kind of a boarding house situation with different guests in different bedrooms I missed that it wasn't air conditioned in the description. Temp was ok at night but pretty warm mid afternoon. Easy walk to beaches and pool. Meh bed.”

“Very nice house for a family or maybe 2 couples. The location is excellent - within easy walking distance to many of the South Shore's best beaches. Also, access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club was a great perk. The pool and restaurant there are comparable to many of the island's nicer resorts. If you are a scuba diver this house is a great home base for the various South Shore dive spots.”

The items in the house for beach and pool use were very plentiful. "Hotel was an older property, in a quiet part of Lihue. Room was in reasonable condition, the room was clean but showed some of the age of the property but don't think that is an easy fix and was part of the charm. The room fridge was very helpful, as was the small amount of utensils provided. All the staff were very friendly and kind. Was able to store luggage prior to check-in and after check-out which was a big help. The coffee available was good and an added bonus. Parking was limited but never had any problems finding a space. The local chickens were a bonus, watching them strut around the streets. "
