Bohemian Mid-Century at the Famed Ocotillo Lodge
Live your best Palm Springs fantasy at our whimsical, light & airy mid-century bungalow. Located in the historical Ocotillo Lodge, our unit is one of a few exclusive bungalow suites, distinguished by its large west-facing, private patio. Enjoy modern amenities and take in the many stylized nods to Palm Springs' colorful history. Have a morning coffee in the light of the golden sunrise, or experience a magical sunset overlooking the San Jacinto Mountains. Our mid-century gem is yours to enjoy!
This one-bedroom unit has tons of natural light coming from floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors in all rooms, along with a skylight in the bathroom. You truly enjoy the best of indoor/outdoor living, as the 350 sq. ft. private patio is one of the nicest in the entire complex. Offering picture-perfect views of the mountains, you have the opportunity to enjoy meals al-fresco, prepared on your own Weber propane grill.
The stylish bungalow decor takes inspiration from the colors & textures of the desert landscape. Meticulous details & accents bring outdoor elements indoors, evoking a seamless experience of the soothing, natural surroundings that Palm Springs is known for.
Our bedroom features a plush king-sized bed, complete with a luxury botanical latex mattress and organic cotton sheets. The kitchen is fully stocked, and has a dishwasher for your convenience. A washer/dryer is located right off the kitchen, offering you all the comforts of home. There's also an air mattress available for use.
Originally built in 1956 by famed architects William Krisel & the Alexanders, the Ocotillo Lodge started out as a hotel, and is one of Palm Springs' most stunning mid-century gems. As a guest, you will have full access to the facilities, including the famous champagne-cork shaped pool, two hot tubs, fitness room, and lush desert landscaping. You'll truly feel like one of the many celebrities who have frequented this famous hangout spot over the years.

You’re renting the entire bungalow and patio area. Make yourself at home, as everything is yours to enjoy exclusively!
Our property is professionally managed by a full service vacation rental agency, so your trip will be worry-free from beginning to end. They will take care of everything from check-in to departure, and will be available for anything you need along the way. They are also available to handle any special or a-la-carte requests, including pre-arrival grocery shopping and arrangement of transportation and/or tours.
Our property is centrally located in Palm Springs. Nearby attractions include the many restaurants and nightlife of Downtown Palm Springs, the galleries and hot spots of the Uptown Design District, the world famous Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and Palm Springs Air Museum.
The Ocotillo Lodge is a quick Uber or taxi ride from Palm Springs International Airport. It’s also surrounded by an endless array of restaurants, nightlife, and shopping options. Grocery stores and gyms are all close by, and we provide recommendations for anything you might need.

Neighbors have been notified that this property is a vacation rental and are encouraged to call a hotline to dispatch authorities to investigate any disturbances. If the city issues a violation, guest will be responsible for payment of any fine(s) and may be evicted with no refund.
- Minimum age for primary renting guest is 25.
- Daytime occupancy is 6 people.
-Overnight occupancy is 2 people.
- Maximum of 1 vehicles allowed. Please utilize driveway parking before using street parking.
- The City imposes a strict noise ordinance for vacation rentals. No music is allowed outside at any time, including music coming from inside that can be heard at the property line, and no noise at all is allowed outside after 10pm.
- The City requires a signed written contract for all guests, as well as a copy of the primary renter's government ID. This will be taken care of during check-in.
- The City requires each guest to pay an 11.5% Transient Occupancy Tax and a 1% Tourism Business Improvement District assessment for stays less than 28 days. If your stay is 28 days or more, taxes do not need to be paid.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
- Check-in time is 4PM, and check-out is promptly by 11AM.
- Our onsite greeter will meet you at the home and give you a tour.
- Late check-outs without prior approval with incur a $250 fee, as we need time to get the house ready for the next guest.
PETS
- One dog is allowed (under 25 lbs), with a fee of $250. No cats allowed, unfortunately. Dogs must be approved and fee paid prior to check-in. Any sign of pets on the property without our knowledge will incur an additional $500 fee. Having more than one dog will be cause for eviction.
NO SMOKING
- The entire complex is a smoke-free property. Any signs of smoking in the unit or on the patio will incur an additional $250 fee.
INSURANCE FEE for Vrbo & Direct Bookings (does not apply to Airbnb bookings)
