  • Palm Springs is the spot for warm, pool- side getaways. This Desert Lanai gem is the penultimate place for your relaxing repose.

    This brand new listing! First time ever rented. Born in 1966, and reimagined in 2021, this property has been meticulously curated with the finest modern elements. Located in a quiet community of 16 units around a pool and lush gardens, this unit has the best there is to offer: an almost 30ft wide patio by the pool, and a private walled patio framed by a breezeblock wall and 8 foot tall olive trees.

    This 2 bedroom, 2 bath property is comfortable for up to 4 adults and offers a private den for relaxing or additional sleeping (Queen Memory Foam Sofa Sleeper). Two luxury pillow top king sized beds will provide the most restful sleep with fluffy pillows and 5 star quality hotel linens.

    High ceilings, motorized blinds, remote controlled ceiling fans, in-unit full sized washer/dryer, and high-end Viking & SMEG kitchen appliances will provide all the comforts of a luxury resort. Heated spa on the rear patio is perfect for a morning dip with your coffee or evening soak with a glass of wine discussing the remains of the day.

    Gas BBQ Grill with side burner and pellet smoker on rear patio. Pellet smoker reserved for those familiar with their use. Ring security doorbells at front and rear doors.

The casita was nice. It wasn’t clear to me but ultimately learned that none of the resort amenities was available to renters of this unit. Also the VRBO ad showed garages as part of the property. We found out later that we had to park in the street.

Midcentury Marvelous

We stayed a month at this amazing and comfortable home. It is so beautiful both inside and out. It looks even better than the pictures indicate. The kitchen is very complete with new high end appliances, I was especially fond of the built in icemaker. Beds are very comfortable as is all the furniture. We loved the private hot tub to sooth muscles after hiking in the hills. Covered parking is close to the front door. There is a very complete instruction manual online that covers everything including local recommendations, the owners are also readily available and helpful for any questions or concerns. This is a smart home and there are many enjoyable amenities such as household music selection/control via Alexa. If you are lucky enough to stay here there are even more things to discover for your comfort and enjoyment. We loved staying here. You will too.

Fresh and Bright

Waking in the door for the first time was a wonderful experience! All the mid century modern touches, bright colours, light flooding into every room and newly renovated space was a treat for our stay in the desert. Everything and I mean everything was brand new! New tiles, new paint, curated art for walls, new appliances and kitchen tools, new outdoor furniture, new linens….you get the picture. If this was our place I don’t think we would’ve done anything differently because the space worked for us and was totally our vibe. There are two outdoor lounging areas….one that had a large dining table, patio heater, two grills, hot tub and umbrella. This was a very private walled space that was great for morning coffee or a hot tub after a day of golfing, etc. The other space was a patio with yet another heater, fire table, loungers and chairs. This faced into the common courtyard which had lovely gardens and a pool. We didn’t take advantage of the pool because the weather wasn’t exactly conducive at that time of year but it was nice to sit beside it and talk to the occasional neighbour wandering by. Being close to the airport wasn’t a disadvantage at all because it was fun to watch the occasional jets or sightseeing old timer aircrafts circle around. Proximity to shops and restaurants was a short drive or Uber ride away. We took advantage of some of our old favourite spots and discovered a few new ones. Hopefully this place will be available for our next desert adventure.

Historic Mid-Mod Paradise

If you love Midcentury Modern, you’ll feel as though you’ve walked into an issue of Atomic Ranch Magazine. All the details are there right down to the swizzle sticks. The furnishings, high-end appliances, fixtures, wallpaper, dishes, barware, art, pillows, rugs – are exactly what you would hope they would be. One patio overlooks the mountains and the beautiful pool. This space has comfortable lounge furniture, a fire table and propane stand heaters to keep you comfortable when the sun goes down. The second patio is a private sanctuary equipped with both a gas grill AND a pellet grill; as well as, hot tub, dining table, and stunning lighting. There are umbrellas to keep you cool and more heaters to keep you warm. Parking is right outside the door and it’s covered. The beds are extremely comfortable. There is a washer and dryer and automation makes life wonderfully easy. Remote blinds, remote lighting, charging stations, and music throughout the house make this a place you won’t ever want to leave. The owners have done an outstanding job of capturing the essence of Palm Springs. And, on top of it all, the neighbors are friendly and warm. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special in every way. Their personalized guidebook makes it easy to enjoy all the many amenities and offers great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Trust the suggestions! They’re all wonderful. I can’t say enough about what a pleasure it was to stay in this amazing home.
