“Gurung's Home has truly become my home away from home. I stay here - nowhere else! - whenever i'm in Kathmandu. The staff is the family, and they are so welcoming, and able to help me with my transportation issues. It is a little bit hard for the taxis to find the address, because Google Maps directs them to a pedestrian street. But about five minutes out of the way, and you can find it. The location is cool because the bustling city is right nearby, but the hotel is on a quiet side street....

“Friendly staff, very helpfull in every way. Good beds, and clean. But No warm water in shower and breakfeast is ok. It feels safe and would recommend it if you are out treeking, just need a good place for your stuff and to rest.”
