  • NO WOOD FIRES - As per insurance. Propane fire pit provided

    Sit on the deck and watch the river flow as you sip locally made coffee or taste the local breweries craft beer. Catch a glimpse of the wildlife, bear, dear, eagles and otters across the river. Bring your binoculars. Sit on the deck and enjoy the propane fire pit and watch the river flow by. enjoy the peacefulness of the woods and wake up to the birds singing around you. Sleep comfortably in the heated cabin with handmade wool filled pillows and duvet. The space suits 2 adults. This is Glamping at its finest!

    Trains
    Trains in the Fraser Canyon are part of what makes the region so unique and leads to so much of the history of the area. They still play an integral role in transporting goods through our province and across the nation. Train whistles are employed at crossings and can be heard throughout the day and evening. Should you not grow accustomed to the whistles ear plugs are available.

    This property is not child friendly because of the Fraser River being so close and the wild life around. For that reason I do not recommend children under the age of 12 yrs.

Spotless, peaceful, and very relaxing.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The cabin was so clean and very comfortable. It was a very relaxing stay and I’ll definitely be back on my next travels.

The cabin (and the whole property) is magical and the river view from the porch is breathtaking. Michele is a wonderful host and welcomes you to her little paradise with all her adorable housemates, including cats, dogs, chickens and a duck :)If you are looking for a perfect hideaway, look no further!

Great spot on the river

Enjoyed our stay - lovely rustic cabin and outside living areas with views of the Fraser River. Amazing homemade bread and free range eggs.

Enchanting site right on the Fraser river with fantastic outdoors spaces to relax & enjoy. Lovely rustic cabin, beautiful setting and incredible host Michele and all her furry & feathered friends! Spent a wonderful day exploring Hope & area and evenings on the deck and balcony - reading, bbqing, napping and absorbing the tranquility. Checked all my boxes of a weekend cabin getaway!!!

Beautiful property, cute cabin, lovely host and adorable animals. The composting toilet was interesting and although it is listed as a bed & breakfast there would have been an extra charge for breakfast

We stayed for three nights and had a great time. It was very relaxing to sit on the patio in front of the cottage or the adjacent outdoor lounge area, with coffee or wine, and watch the river go by. Lots’o friendly animals, (cats, dogs, chickens & a duck) to visit. Although breakfast was not included at this b&b we did enjoy some breads and jams, available for purchase, for breakfast and snacks.For activities, we went to Hells Gate Airtram, Flood Falls & Othello Tunnels. Very convenient location near Hope for grocery shopping and grabbing a bite to eat.
Great views of the mighty Frazier River!

Michele was a very great host. She stocked up the property with everything you need and if I reached out she was very prompt in her response. The animals were wonderful companions and the property is even more beautiful than the photos. A well maintained oasis that provided so much peace and joy. Thank you, Michele, for your warm hospitality, and for sharing your hidden slice of heaven. I will be back for sure, looking forward to it.

Amazing getaway to reset and recenter

I was here for a weekend getaway to unwind and relax. Perfect setting for it! A mini beach along the river was nice to sit and read at. All the pets were incredibly friendly--the black cat even joined me while I was reading. I also purchased a loaf of bread and jams from the farm and they were fantastic! No complaints, would love to stay again

Magical little cabin on the river

You can tell Michele put a lot of thought and effort into this place. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The cabin is cozy and has everything you need. While it’s located on the main property, it feels completely secluded. The views are phenomenal! Thank you for your hospitality and sharing your little piece of paradise with us. We’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful Hideaway

Michelle's cabin was a perfect spot for us to unwind after a busy week of travelling. Such a cozy cabin with views that cannot be described...so beautiful! Michelle was a wonderful host, greeting us and making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to B.C. Thanks Michelle!!

Awesome stay.

Lovely, cozy, rustic cabin… Glamping at its absolute best. So much attention to detail. Love the different separate spaces. Amazing river views, finally had a good sleep in weeks, due to that comfortable bed and the great wool pillows. Thanks so much for everything Michelle.

Lovely Little Hideaway

Shaded away under trees right by the Fraser River this little cabin is such a cool and beautiful place to relax especially if you've been out exploring in the summer heat. Michele is a lovely host and we had a lot of fun chatting with her. All the cute animals she has is an extra bonus.

Fantastic BC getaway

This magical riverside cabin was just perfect for a quiet, relaxing couple of days. The cabin itself was very comfortably appointed, with just the right rustic feel. What we loved: sitting on the deck in the evening (maybe with a good book), listening to the insistent frog song, the occasional splash from the river, and yes, even the trains (we got used to them very quickly!). Michele was very quick to respond in communicating, and cheerful to visit with on site.

Michele is an incredible host, and her property is nothing short of magical. Even though we arrived late, she welcomed us with kindness and immediately made us feel at home. From the moment you step out of your vehicle, you're surrounded by peaceful nature, towering cedars, beautiful gardens, fountains, birdhouses, and the soothing sound of the river. The cozy cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, dressed with Michelle's handmade quilts and pillows—we had the best sleep in years. The cabin was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with towels, a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishes, spices, popcorn, games, books, and the freshest well water we've ever tasted. The riverside fire pit became our favorite place to relax while listening to birds, watching eagles, and taking in the mountain views. At night, the lights along the path create an unforgettable atmosphere. Although Hope is only 10–15 minutes away with great restaurants like Home and Rolly's, we barely wanted to leave the property. Nearby attractions like Lake of the Woods and the Othello Tunnels are well worth visiting. Michele is a genuinely kind person who perfectly balances hospitality with privacy. Lady, Spencer, and her other furry companions made our stay even more special. This anniversary gift from our daughter became one of our favourite memories, and we've already decided this will be our home away from home for years to come. Thank you, Michele.

Great location to explore the beautiful Hope area. The cabin is rustic and charming, with amazing views of the river, and at night the property takes on a fairy garden ambience. Michelle is a lovely host, and her bread and jam are delicious. The collection of pets are friendly and you can count on regular check ins from at least one of the cats, who is happy to sit with you and laze the day away. We were able to visit Bridal veil falls, the Othello tunnels, swim in Kawkawa lake and explore Hope easily from this location. Of note, we were happy to see that the Save-on Foods, the liquor store, and a gas station are all closely located together in Hope.

A tranquil woodland stay (with trains).

The vibes of this place are off the charts. There are string lights, fire pits, the sound of flowing water and resident farm animals. There is a train super close by with a blaring whistle, but earplugs are provided if you need. I somehow slept through it.

I could sit by the river forever. The property is rustic (bathroom and sink outside), but it works. I didn't mind the frequent trains passing near, I love that sound. The only bad thing, and it's not the host's fault, is the neighbors were loud with yelling and music night and morning.

Cute little cabin right on the river.

Michele greeted us at the gate along with Apollo, the cats, a few chickens and a duck!! Michele is a great host who stayed completely out of our way but was also very attentive and accommodating. This is best described as glamming with everything you need and nothing you don’t. The trains are a little loud at first but 100 % are part of the Fraser River and Canyon experience. Amazing views and so tranquil. We will definitely stay here again.

2 Nights Not Enough

Michele has created a most amazing space amidst all the natural beauty around. From the moment you arrive and are greeted by Michele and her lovely fur and feathered beauties, it feels a bit like glory! Michele is an amazing host. Her woolen duvet and pillows made for a cozy comfortable sleep. The homemade bread and delicious jam definitely worth it. The morning sun is perfect for coffee on the outdoor daybed. The covered patio was cozy in the rain. I loved the sound of the approaching trains how it echoes across the river. A very soothing sound. Amazing place for a retreat. Thank you to an amazing and talented hostess. Looking forward to the next visit.
