“The location is perfect right on the river with a great view from all windows. There are day trip opportunities near by the Mt St. Helens Visitor center, small town Kalama and McMenimans w/rec area. Even an in town Woodland Thai restaurant was good ( Mai Thai). The room was spacious with everything you need with a retro feel. “This brand new home had everything needed for my stay. Everything was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to work and chill within the comfort of the home. “This riverside cabin is the perfect getaway location. Out of town by only 10 minutes and so peaceful. It’s surrounded by beautiful landscape and right above the Lewis river. The hosts greeted us upon arrival, showed us the cabin and even left us a special fruit cracker and salmon dip tray. From the cabin daily we were able to explore the surrounding areas quite easily. Portland is only 40 minutes away, Fishing, antique shops, scenic drives and wineries all nearby. Totally enjoyable stay!!”

“A magical place to rest and rejuvenate, host was prompt and friendly. Felt like we had the whole woods to ourselves. The hammock and outdoor shower with instant hot water were my favorite. We will be back. Kitchen had essentials and much more. The oven was new and great for cooking with 6 burners. Plenty of firewood on hand for indoor wood stove and outdoor fire pit. So many little quirky touches it made the place feel like home. Did I mention the flannel sheets and large soft towels?”

“My little group has stayed here three times now and plan to do so again. The location is conveniently close the the fairgrounds, which is a big plus. It is also roomy enough for a bunch of single dudes to relax and rest. Recent upgrades, including a pool table, are a nice plus as well! The host is very responsive as well. I haven’t had any issues that needed attention, but I can say that checkin information was prompt and followed up on, and that a couple questions that I’ve had were answered...

"Vi behövde ett hotell för övernattning på Portland Airport då vi hade en tidig flygning morgonen därpå. Hotellet hade fått goda recensioner och priset var helt okej. Vi läste dessutom att Shuttle från hotellet till flygplatsen fungerade bra. Mot bakgrund av det slog vi till. Och ja, hotellet var helt okej, ungefär som stora hotell på en flygplats brukar vara. Det fanns restaurang som hade öppet till 22.30 vilket var ett stort plus. Shutteln fungerade perfekt så vi är nöjda. "
