It’s my 4th stay here in the past 5yrs and it used to be my favorite hotel in the world, but the charm seemed lost post Covid.
Everyday there’s something: wrong order taken at the breakfast or the staff forgot our order (multiple times), delivery took forever s’est the concierge said they are on the way, nobody at the front desk for 30mins, asking for check can take another 10-15mins. No much greeting though we stayed here for 10 days. Guest relations suggested to make special arrangements after the 1st claim but never came back to us.
Not sure what happened, could be the management, training or recruitment: staffs looked unhappy and in a hustle, indeed it’s in the middle of Fashion week but I didn’t sense a shortage of staffing as there are often many staffs gathering but not delivering the job.
We shared the frustration at the checkout and the response was “ok” and “alright”.
I’ve stayed at all of the palace hotel in Paris, for work and private, and this time was for a hotel screening for our next company event.
I simply don’t think Crillion can provide the level of hospitality we required.
