âI lived in Patan, Nepal in 2006 and have returned several times to reconnect with my "Nepali Family" and the one of kind culture of the Kathmandu Valley. The Inn Patan is a treasured restoration of a traditional Newari home, and is a moments walk to Patan's Durbar Square. The property is extremely quiet, the on-site restaurant is excellent, and the staff are consistently wonderful and accommodating. âWe had a good experience from checkin to departure. The staff were friendly and very helpful but didn't hover over us. Our spacious room, the restaurant and the facilities in general are well maintained, pleasantly decorated and clean. Hot water for a shower was plentiful. âThis is a lovely new hotel in Kathmandu. Spotless rooms and attractively maintained exterior and interior. Nothing to complain about and only good things to say. When the power went out several times, as it is prone to do occasionally in Kathmandu, the generator kicked in immediately. Heater worked well, for the cool nights. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Food at breakfast and dinner was great. So was the coffee. I will stay here again.â
