Casual, comfortable and dog-friendly, this two-story raised beach house is perfect for slowing down and savoring the simple pleasures of coastal living. Two furnished porches with rocking chairs, an outdoor dining set, and the sound of the surf will set your clock to Island Time.

A central TV den and fully equipped kitchen are located on the main floor. Two bedrooms and a full bath can be found on both floors. All bedrooms come with a ceiling fan and TV, and the top floor bedrooms feature peek-a-boo ocean views.

The Byrd House promises salty air, barefoot mornings, sunset strolls, and a laid-back vibe for memories that will last a lifetime.

HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping are additional costs for monthly stays.

BEACH / CREEK ACCESS: The beach is less than a two-minute walk with boardwalk access located right across the road. A small public boat launch is right around the corner on Sundial Drive, perfect for launching a Jon boat and kayaks to explore the beautiful tidal creek.

LENGTH OF STAY: Saturday to Saturday stays in summer. Partial-week stays may be considered for last-minute bookings. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.

DOG FRIENDLY: This Dog Friendly home invites you to bring the whole family. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their dog. Guests bringing a dog must make it known at the time of booking and pay additional rent. Maximum 2 dogs. Leashed dogs are allowed on the beach during daylight hours.

LITCHFIELD BEACH: Walkable with a laidback vibe, this unique coastal community offers residents and visitors easy access to miles of pristine beach as well as the tidal creek. A stroll-about will unfold scenic Lowcountry vistas, rekindle friendships from past stays, and provide access to a sample of local shops and restaurants. The greater Waccamaw Neck area additionally offers grocery stores, art galleries, prominent golf courses, historic landmarks, boat excursions, Brookgreen Gardens (nationally renowned), Huntington Beach State Park (think history, birding), and more.
