“We spent a wonderful week at La Bourgarde and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The property was perfect – just a short walk into Castelnaud for morning pastries and close enough to enjoy an afternoon swim. The location made it easy to pack in so many activities, and our whole family loved every moment. Check-in was seamless, and the host was excellent with communication and helpful advice throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning – highly recommended!”

“Logement idéalement situé à 15/20 min à pied du centre historique de Sarlat. Grande piscine chauffée quasi privée (en 15 jours nous l'avons eu uniquement pour nous sauf une fois où le neveux du propriétaire nous à rejoint, ce qui n'est pas gênant). Elle est clôturée pour la sécurité des enfants et située dans un grand parc arboré. “Très bel endroit, au calme, avec une très belle vue sur le hameau voisin. Seuls bémols : (I) l'agencement intérieur surprenant (salles de bains éloignées des chambres, obligeant à passer par la cuisine ou le salon pour aller de l'un à l'autre) et (II) l'absence de porte pour l'une des chambre. Sans cela, allez-y les yeux fermés !”

“Lovely place to stay and explore the local area (you will need a car). Very easy check in, clean place, comfortable beds, spacious lounge, very thoughtful owner with great communication, pool was a godsend in the blazing heat and great protection for the kids with it being covered, nice big garden and everything you need! It's a very peaceful and quiet in the area. The only advice is to bring lots of DEET in summer, the mosquitoes like the taste of English blood, they're vicious!! ”

We kregen ook tips mbt restaurants en goede info vooraf voor de incheck. Het huis zelf ligt rustig maar vlakbij het dorp (bakker 2 minuten met de auto of 10 min lopen).
