NY LISTERING ☼ Unikt Oceanfront Home

Panoramautsikt över havet och direkt utsikt över ön. Naturreservat och vandringsled intill och i närheten. Bort från turisttrafik men bekvämt till restauranger, seglingsklubb, shopping etc.

Hem byggdes 2005. Obefläckade med nya möbler. Unikt hem med 36 fönster genom att utnyttja utsikten från nästan alla rum.

Andra våningen har sovrum och badsvit med badkar och övervåningen sittgrupp. Otroliga vyer. Queen Sleeper i rummet nedervåningen med halv badrum. Tredje enkelsäng soffa soffa soffa. Oceanfront uteplats med gasgrill ansluten till hus propan tank.

Home får Sebago Bay-vatten från Portland, vilket är utmärkt under varmt väder. Kylvattenkylare och vatten levererat. Under vintern / kalla månaderna levereras huset med brunnsvatten. Det är salt och ganska bra för bad. För salt för att dricka men helt säkert. Sink har avsaltande filter.

Peaks Island är en av dussintals öar som ligger i Casco Bay och Atlanten. Det är den mest tillgängliga för Portland och den enda som serveras med bilfärjan. Vi tror att det är ett av de mest försköna och definitivt det mest livliga och bekvämt för Portland. Färjor körs från Portland ungefär varje timme från cirka 6 a. m. till nästan midnatt. Det finns timbilsfärjor 7 dagar i veckan. Schemat varierar dag till dag och beroende på månad. Färjeturen är extremt vacker och bara 15 minuter på vattnet.

För att nå hemmet ta bilfärjan med ditt fordon eller utan. Det finns en mycket pålitlig taxiservice för 3 dollar per person till huset som uppfyller varje färja. Du kommer att ha en naturskön 2 mil bilfärd till fastigheten runt Seashore Drive. Vissa gillar att hyra en golfvagn nära Färjan. Cykeluthyrning finns nära bryggan. Det finns två för din användning också i huset.

The location of this property is absolutely stunning. The ocean views are amazing, we saw multiple eagles, and Peaks Island is so peaceful. It was great that I could bring my dog, and check in was very easy.

Beautiful Maine getaway!

Really enjoyed the property and it is located beautifully along the rocky shore of the bay. Our first day was at the end of a big heat wave and the house only has one small A/C unit that we couldn’t figure out how to make work. Fortunately, the house cooled off quickly that night and we enjoyed leaving the windows open for the rest of the stay. Master bed is positioned perfectly to enjoy listening to the ocean and morning sunrises. The ferry to and from the island takes time (sometimes you have to arrive an hour or so early), patience, and money to navigate. Transporting a vehicle costs 150 per round trip. We would’ve like to have known more of these details in advance. Otherwise, the house was great, the location was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the trip. We were visited multiple times by wild turkeys roaming the yard.

Amazing House, with Amazing Views!

We loved our stay at Ocean Spray Rd, this house is beautiful and cosy, ( we stayed in late Autumn ) is is so well stocked, with every possible need met. From a fantastic range of hair care and skincare products, if I’d forgotten my own, to plentiful filtered water for our use. I just can’t find enough words to explain how perfect it is here, an absolute idyll, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, ( we started our journey in NYC, after travelling out from the UK ) We didn’t leave the island during our 4 night stay, with the views and the house being quite enough for our needs. Book with Nikki for a wonderful vacation experience. Easy to access the property, and great communication should you need any help.

Stunning

Such a stunning setting. Beautiful home right at the ocean. This home is truly a bright spot on the island of Peaks. We lounged in the sun on the back lawn looking out across a beautiful ocean. The interior is fresh and the huge windows proved over and over again to draw to the ocean. Maximum Refreshing Experience.

SPECTACULAR VIEWS FROM EVERY WINDOW!!!

This is a very attractive, well-furnished, clean, comfortable house. But what it's really all about is the view! And what a view! The house has been expertly designed with huge windows to take full advantage of the expanse of sky and rocks and water just feet away. Many of the windows, on all sides, are casement (i.e., crank-out), which allows you take full advantage of the heavenly breezes and the soothing sound of the waves hitting the rocks. Even the shower has a world-class, full-horizon view, with a crank-out window. As a matter of fact, this is the most spectacular shower, with the most spectacular view, I have ever seen. A true stunner! If you are looking for a place to unwind, to commune with an incomparable Maine seascape, to sit quietly while contemplating sunlight on water and the sound of water hitting rocks, this is the place for you. It may just heal your soul.

Gorgeous views

As many reviewers have said, this house has gorgeous views of the water - and a lovely patio outside to relax near the water. You have to go through the master bedroom to get to the full bathroom-which worked ok for us since there is a half bath downstairs. Just FYI - the bedroom downstairs is off the living room, and has sliding doors to the outside. We enjoyed the house and the island. There can be long waits for the car ferry to get on and off the island (3-hour wait on Monday morning)

Beautiful Sunrise

The house was clean and well maintained. You cannot find a better view, located right on the water with stunning views, especially sunrises if you wake up early. We were traveling with two young kids and found the sleeping arrangements somewhat difficult for their ages (1&4). The second bedroom is off the living space with noise easily traveling. This made it difficult to spend much time in the living room after we put her to bed. We managed best parents can and would still return to this house.
