Upon check out they asked how our stay was and I wrote them a message saying I’d rather discuss this before leaving a bad review but they left me on read… When we arrived there were so many unhoused folx outside the apt we didn’t feel safe entering. we literally saw a woman being chased/harassed while we were pulling up. “We had 3 generations staying in the Friendly Cottage and all of us loved it. The grandkids loved climbing down the rocks to the little beach in front of the cottage and walking to nearby Cedar Beach to swim. “The listing said "Studio Apartment," but it is really just a bedroom with a bath. A mini-fridge, coffeemaker and microwave oven do not make this a "Studio" in the sense that I understand that word (i.e., a one-room apartment with kitchen and bath). “Bo and Frank continue to make Sebago a great place to visit. Location to the lake and property amenities make it a great place to vacation.”

“The property was in an excellent location. Close to Congress Street, and within walking distance to downtown Portland, the Old Port and Deering Oaks Park. Comfortable beds, clean towels and a well equipped kitchen. Late check out and a parking space provided for an extra fee. The property manager David was fantastic.
